Does anyone know where devil survivor would fall in the shin megami tensei universe? Before one and imagine, or between imagine and 2? Or does it not fall in at all?

Technically speaking, no ending is good or bad. Like any MegaTen entry, the endings are purely subjective. For canon purposes, any sequels tend to assume the Neutral route as the canonical true ending. But as a game itself, they usually have no true ending and it's more you go with the ending that appeals the most to your philosophy of the game world.

Personally speaking, the King of Demons ending is the one that I see as the true ending. But that's because I agree with Naoya.

I was wondering why don't they just list Good, bad, or neutral? Since this is the true ending how does Gin affect the Protagnist?
