  • God, Marc Almond is so adorable.

  • The worst AND best of the 80's.

Sooo cheesy, yet his voice is perfect.

  • @mrsmudd2009 - I thought this was an old Northern Soul track, but who did it originally?

  • @Enerjee it was originally by Judy Street.

  • Great cover a Nothern soul classic .

  • Love the way Marc dresses, dances, love the Marilyn impersonator, love the go-go dancers, even love Marc's necklace that looks like he bought it at the la brea tar pits gift shop!

  • iluminatti

  • The album was called Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret.

  • @Aucklandshelly Non--Stop Ecstatic Dancing was the name of a "mini-album" released by Soft Cell. Check it out on wikipedia.

  • love for soft cell!!!!!!

they were fantastic ...not cool band like them around anymore unfortunatly!

  • perfect

  • He is so sexy, he can hold me, hold me, hold me all he wants...*drools*

  • When I saw this video for the 1st time, I thought to myself it was Siouxsie & The Banshees!! But it was too happy to be Siouxsie !!!

  • the true sex symbol of the eighties

  • @dopakaiboha yes .Sex symbol for gay men. Nothing against gays and Marc Almond but they don't come more bottom ,fairly flamer then Marc Almond..lol

  • @Rafa38 no he was a sex symbol for everyone that is why straight , girls and gays were and still are jealous of him .

  • @dopakaiboha really?I'd say Marc's glory days are far behind him. No one could be jealous this day and age? lol.In fact people would probably think he was Chris Crocker or something. You may be stuck in a time warp. No one is jealous of him that I know of.

  • @dopakaiboha good music though. I myself come from the 80's. I think what your writing is a stretch but yes being a fem non masculine was in vogue in the 80's.

  • @Rafa38 yes he was sexy back in the eighties . that is correct. i dont mean that men and girls were aroused by him . i mean he was really sexy in the way prince was and when i say jealous i mean that they liked the image and took bits of it .and they still do this . i know a lot of emos that adore his style .

  • @Rafa38 Oh you don't have to be so politically correct! Just say it! He's a Big Ol Nelly Queen isn't he???! LOL! (Yes I'm gay but I'm more of a butch queen.)

  • @zoics1 Yes ! lol...It's like the media or may be his promoters tried to hide it or he wasn't out of the closet. He just should have been out with it cause everyone knew anyway ..lol

  • OMG!!!!!! i've been looking for this song for ages ^.^ thanks for posting!!!!

  • MARC ALMOND FOR EVER!!!!!

  • Bless Mari Wilson, Neasden Queen of Soul!

  • marc almond must be a mod, his northern soul influences are crazy. why didn't he do suspicion ?

  • i like marc almond i quite fancy him he is odd and quirky which i like, i like his tunes too

  • I appreciate Marc's subversive use of transgenders in his vids in a time when his homosexuality was taboo at the record companies.

  • He is adorable, the 80s must have been lovely...

  • @Alma889900

80s had their drawbacks too. like Thatcher...

  • I have been looking for this song for AGES. Thank you!!

  • Why was there no hate in the world when we had songs like this ,

  • In the beginning, is that Marilyn Monroe popart by andy warhol, i thought it was but im still not sure and then that girl in the video looks exactly like marilyn. Such a beauty, really.

Marc looks adorable in this haha funny dance he does.

  • ultra mint 80s classic!they just dont make tracks like this anymore!i dont know why...i think we all miss out when we have to look back to find such great loveable music.

  • reminds me of music and lyrics (:

  • late 1970's - early 1980's - such a great time for music!

  • My two-year-old is obsessed with this song and video!

RIght now he's saying "More song!"

  • @murihiku how cute

  • @murihiku

This may be one year on, but your child is the greatest thing to happen.

  • @AniBenNerd Inspired by your comment, I played this to my now three-year-old after a period of many months and he watched it and then whispered, "I want it again," and then I played it for him eight times in a row while I read my book. Thanks!!

  • @murihiku

Your son could be the greatest person to exist. I know Iiked dead can dance, soft cell, the cure and maralyn manson along with the sex pistosls at a very early age, but not it such a vibe-a-licous way. You son, has won my eternal respect for being so epic. Maybe when he is older he will take up music, and being 16 and obsessed with playing various instruments I can safely say that is an awesome thing :D

Glad I brought such joy to you/ your son. And have a nice day :-)

  • @murihiku It also liked this song a lot when I was a kid; it's strange, maybe this kind of sound is extremely appealing for a kid, scientists should study about it, in reality, this tune is something very nostalgic for me, of course I still like this tune, what, ( a jewell from the modern 80's)

  • The original track by Judy Street, I feel, was much better much more honest and heartfelt. Search for it and see. This is good but Judy is superb!!

  • one of my biggest ispirations. get ready world for Soft Cell 2

  • This reminds me of the Pop! Goes My Heart video Hugh Grant made for Music and Lyrics, lol..

  • One of my favorite records and favorite songs of all time. I still play this whenever I'm behind the controls at BBQ'S or Parties. The British Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 80s FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

  • This is an amazing song soft cell came along with, right on.....

  • ¡Un súper clásico de los 80's!

A super classic form the 80's!

  • Thank you. Good Job!!!
