quite a while mate. I had another version of the floor plate in my Mk 1 version, when I found some 5mm checker plate, that's when I got things lined up a bit better.

The chains + transmission are all lined up to the clutch bell. I made some engine mounts, and fitted it to the floor - solid mount.

It sure shakes a lot when you gas it.

why dont you get like a conley v8 in it?that would sound so awesome

For some very basic reasons

1 a Conley costs fucking heaps

2 a Conley is lucky to punch out 5 HP

(a new Gen Stinger 609 will do more, but can you imagine $6k US for that?

You can get a Stihl Forestry saw 65 or 80cc straight out of the box doing 9 HP.

Port that, and add a pipe.....makes a Conley USELESSS

A conley goes well with a Daytona Cobra, or a T bucket, or a WSM 33 Ford.

Not for me, I must admit

Why don't you make a car and put an expensive Conley in it?

That's cool, I've been thinking about making a 1/10th scale sedan drag car with a crawler diff + 4 link rear suspension to try and get it to torque twist on the line and lift the left front, or at least lift the left side more than the right for that realistic look :)
