ugh yeah,about people assuming you are healthy just cause you are young.. i was on the bus one day and this old lady sitting next to me gave me shit cause i was sitting down. ( I have possible MS still doing tests ) but she assumed cause i look young i am perfectly healthy. Well yeah I am sitting down it's hard for me to stand or even walk some days. My dad gave her shit and she apologized. lol
And besides this, disease has no prejudice. Its only looking for a host. Cannabis is helpful for over 200 issues and even CURES 7 types of cancer that I am aware of.

@Mediumchild Use a hot water bottle and avoid salt the week before your perdio. Take evening primrose oil, it's a great anti-inflammatory. If I get cramps that are slowing me down I take about 3 or 4 capsules and they are gone!

People's ignorance to the effects of marijuana is insulting. However, based off of the laxed view on it from the younger generation (viewpoints from my school :P), I wouldn't doubt if it became legalized within the next 20 years. People also forget that the people getting pot will get it legal or not. Yeah, there's no proof of any causal link. Cancers can occur for a variety of reasons; it likely had a lot to do with diet, lifestyle, etc.
Cannabis often helps in ridding you of certain cancers; there might be some damage to lungs if the plant was treated with harmful chemicals (as is done by some growers), but you can't blame the plant itself for that.

I say legalize it so patients don't have to be on Oxycontin, Morphine, etc...the most powerful addicting drugs there are. I have 9 different things wrong with my spine in addition to other medical problems. The only one wrong on the outside that shows is I limp & use a cane. I've had a few knee surgeries and need a replacement. After being on Lortabs for 13 yrs., I was RX'd Morphine slow release so acetominephon doesn't kill my liver. I'd rather be RX'd MJ.

People's ignorance to the effects of marijuana is insulting. However, based off of the laxed view on it from the younger generation (viewpoints from my school :P), I wouldn't doubt if it became legalized within the next 20 years. People also forget that the people getting pot will get it legal or not. We waist tax dollars fighting it, we might as well legalize it and make money off of it as paper, food (Hemp seeds), and the THC production itself.

@TheMrVogue I would like to share with you that as an advocate for the legalization of cannabis i'm confident that it will be legal to posses small amounts of pot (1oz or less) for people ages 21 & older within the next year. There is a initiative on the ballot in California for the complete decriminalization of cannabis for people 21 & older.
Also Washington DC is in the process of approving medical cannabis there. That alone is proof that a new congress is taking over & change is beginning.

Yeah, there's no proof of any causal link. Cancers can occur for a variety of reasons; it likely had a lot to do with diet, lifestyle, etc.
Cannabis often helps in ridding you of certain cancers; there might be some damage to lungs if the plant was treated with harmful chemicals (as is done by some growers), but you can't blame the plant itself for that.

Smoke itself is not a cause of cancer, and neither are the chemicals in marijuana. I say legalize it so patients don't have to be on Oxycontin, Morphine, etc...the most powerful addicting drugs there are. I have 9 different things wrong with my spine in addition to other medical problems. The only one wrong on the outside that shows is I limp & use a cane. I've had a few knee surgeries and need a replacement. After being on Lortabs for 13 yrs., I was RX'd Morphine slow release so acetominephon doesn't kill my liver. I'd rather be RX'd MJ.
