  • Hi Max. Thank you for a very Informative Video. And for taking the time to do it. Added to my Favorites.Tec

  • @Max: i think u missed closed loops of the core in the demo

closed magnetic path of the core helps alot in raising the inductance of an inductor... i also experimented alot with the inductors... and finally settled down on the Ferrite core based inductors bcos it has larger inductance for its size and a must for high frequency use, iron cores are a mess.... saturates quite easily even at a few kHz.... on the other hand i love ferrite ones... which can be pushed easily into even Mhz range ;)

  • @waqaskhan148 yes closed loop.....teroids and ecore and ccore................upper left of the screen.....and open gap and closed gap..............the material and shape all effect what it does.....each material is suited for a job and or frequency......depends on what you want to do as to the materal.....if using a low frequency....laminated or solid iron would be better.....high frequency....maybe air core is best...then high amps change things again

  • another good lesson. Now a starship coil has some strange characteristics in the magnetic field. I would have no idea how the inductance would measure out. Maybe somewhere down the road ya could check it out.. saw the vid "it runs on water " dont speak russian so i dont have a clue , but the spark plug test has promiss. the engine running test is questionable

  • Very good and informative video. Thanks. A lot of variants, I must say.

Write to you tomorrow my friend.

  • i've just finished building mine. I've got a ferrite core 17 Henry inductor to be used injunction with my ignition coil.

  • @kurdishmob interesting............let me know how it works out for you

    17 H.......sounds like a big boy

  • flux capacitance is it REAL?

    wow

  • hey max you ever mess around with a Marko Rodin coil, I made one have no clue what to do with it. -_-

  • @Iseekoutthetruth rodin coil..................it makes ufo s fly......

just kidding..............rodin coil has to do with the angle of the wire and the flux comes off the wire at an angle to the wire. so the flux flows to the other coils.....a flat wire collects more flux then a round wire....the plastic of the core is a dielectric and allows flux energy to be stored inside the doughnut shape. all about efficient use of energy......no i have never tried a rodin type coil

  • its like a slinky

  • @Iseekoutthetruth slinky.....yea
