  • Hah my Mom told me she dated the lead singer in college. I had no idea they were actually semi-popular. Love their album Midnight Radio!

  • I have seen these guys more times than I can count at House of Blues in Orlando. I'm just waiting patiently for them to come back. They are superior live, amazingly better than on their recorded CDs. My dream is to see them at Red Rocks!

  • @NelsonCollage youre in luck they play at the Rocks on June 11th 2011

  • Saw them ar Red Rocks. BHT!! Red Rocks rocks.

  • Fantastic. Pure & Simple.

  • When U see Big Head Todd & The Monsters live, they are ANYTHING but mellow - Todd SHREDS that guitar...One of the best!! And we can't forget Rodeo Rob on thundering Bass and Brian killing it on drums...And when Hazel Miller is with the, she adds that SOUL element!! Love it! We drove 600+ miles to see them and would do it again in a heartbeat...

    "Its Bittersweet"! :D

  • Gotta love BHT&TM! This song brings back lots of memories.

  • His vocals sound a lot like the great Graham Parker.

  • Kinda reminds me of when I was a bit younger...Dad had Reel-to-reels...then 8-tracks!! His media was sooo old...I thought my "new" cassette tapes were just the coolest!! Oh, how the tide turns......

  • SIMPLE---NICE---AND JUST SO GOOD

  • One last thing, they only have three members but they sound as if they have five. You get every bit of quality performance live as you would on CD.

  • I saw them at the House of Blues in NO La in I think 2004. Great band they are very friendly to the fans, this band is so underated it's not funny, due to them not selling out to big industry no doubt.

  • i went to this concert and saw my fifth grade teacher wasted it was funny as hell

  • he's half Korean and German.

  • He looks Native Am

  • Very nice...... great lyrics, great singing, and I had no idea he is such an entertaining guitar player.

    Very well done.

  • when you youger kids figure out what good--let me know---this is fucking good

  • I saw them live in Northampton MA at a small music hall ..called "pearl street"..on ..yup Pearl St. ...wow i was right in front of the stage ..the hole crowd of 300 or so were dancing together "puff puff pass"oh was that a great night and they kicked ass

  • One of the most friendliest and remarkable bands in the business, and forward thinking. what's not to like about this song? It describes practically the love hate relationship we all go through with everything in life!

  • you know, i don't think anyone has anything bad to say about big head todd and the monsters, not overplayed, still popular, and overall just good mellow rock. i definitely wouldn't mind seeing them live

  • Am I the only one who has noticed that Katy Perry just struck major gold using this same chord progression on "Hot and Cold"? G-D-Am-C.

  • It's a pretty common chord progression. BHT&TM weren't the first to use it either.

  • I was on my way to NV and I was passing by the"Grand Canyon" The sign said 5 hours but it was much more. I listened to the the boys...bitter sweet. Long live the songs,,,

  • my dad went to high school with these guys

    NO JOKE!!

  • he is my trumpet teacher

  • My dad recommended this band to me.

    Really good music.(:

  • we tremble as we sleep---awesum

  • I saw these guys in Jackson Hole. They were awesome!! Good video!!

  • WHERE WAS THE JACKSONS HOLE???

  • 98' during their heyday! They came to what is called Jackson Hole Wyoming, dumbass!

  • these guys are so cool and mellow...i'm sure they would appreciate your attitude and "dumbass" comment on one of their vids... geez.

  • I love it...!

    Thanks, televised giant ;)

  • my favorite live show at the Fox in Lanta in years

  • A rare gem, thanks for posting it.

  • wow this is the first time ive heard this i think this is awesome

  • perhaps one of the best long songs I have ever heard

  • awesom, thanks for sharing, i part of this on the way home and i had to hear it., thanks again.

  • Very good song, great group.

  • i saw them with hootie and the blowfish. all the yuppies were there to see hootie who i dont like much and paid little attention to todd and company. so you could tell it was hard for them to get into it

  • i just got their c.d in my fucking mail

    kinda random

    dont like it

  • agreed. their older stuff (and sound) is much better

  • WELL DONE SONG AND VIDEO

  • Anyone who likes Big Head Todd comes out of their concerts loving them. Their concerts can transform and convert you, if for nothing else for Todd's unbelievable guitar playing.

  • gonna see these guys live house o blues

  • i was there in vegas April 6th, good night... did you like it?

  • i was there and i loved it :]

  • Great Band, salutes from a Colombian fan

  • WOW! This was totally high school for me... Between this tune and the movie Singles? Forget about it... I'm 15 again...

  • Is todd part native american he has some of those facial features?

  • no, he's actually half Asian; born to a Korean Father and French/German mother.

  • french?!? no wonder the line about "surrender" made it into the song.

  • lol.

  • First Ave in MN...1995 3 1/2 hour show where they played every song they knew. Best. Live. Band. Ever. And they never sold out.

  • Yo los vi en San Diego!excelente ...gracias por bajarla

  • This is my favorite song that my cousin sings!! he is AMAZING!!!

  • If you haven't seen these guys at red rocks in colorado, then you haven't seen them at all!

  • yeah right, whatever. The Paramount and Boulder Theater don't count, right?!?

actually, if you substitute the phrase "at red rocks in colorado" with "play Beast of Burden", I might agree with you.

  • Actually i have seen them play at the paramount and the boulder theater, I just prefer red rocks. Rob Squires the bass player is my uncle, so I've seen them play just about everywhere in Colorado.

  • BHTM sounds great at Indy too...one of the best live bands I have had the pleasure to enjoy.

  • you have to see them at the Fox Theater in Atlanta for desert.. incredible!

  • Omg....this song makes me miss Colorado!!!! I can't wait to go home.*cries* <3 Big Head Todd.

  • Austin, Tx was prepared to adopt 15 years ago. F'ing great show.

  • What a terrific band this is. Check out the steel git player. He knows just how to play it perfectly and yet not upstage Todd. What a pro! BHT is fabulous in this tune. I rather listen to him than Clapton, as both a singer and a player, and that's saying a LOT.

  • this is my favorite song! i wish i was there! ^^

  • This song takes me back to Crested Butte CO..and hanging @Toe Jam Records with Eric Sanderson....back in spring of 93....smoking cheba and thinking what a friggin rockin album this was(and still is...great music never dies...or gets old...this is nicely refined and amped up version!!!

  • nothing like a cold beer, BHTM, and summertime.....!!

  • So good and perfect for September. Oh summer, I love you!

  • Just excellent!!

  • great song, remembers me of a girlfriend i had, i miss her and at the same time i dont wanna remember her

  • This is one great band. The album this song is on should be required listening for all record producers!

  • Todd has to be one of the most underrated guitarists in America. Great song. Great Band. I saw these guys at Belle Chere in Asheville for free, front row... a sublime show.

  • u guys r lucky to b in the same country as this band catch them live if u can, i have all there albums but sadly will probably never get to see them as i'm in australia

  • jay and fenderstratguy below me-your both wise men indeed, great comments...todd and the monsters are the greatest, but sadly relatively unknown..but i guess that makes them more special!

  • God, what a song, and album and a group! I haven't heard a song by BHTM that I didn't like.

  • One of the country's greatest "Unknown Superstars"! They could have easily just as well been called Amp Head Todd and the Tone Monsters the way he always gets a sick tone out of anything that happens to be in his hands at the time. Todd could probably throttle a squirrel and make it sound cool.

  • Love the song. Very hot fellow, that Todd. I always fall for musicians! Good job I married a sensible scientist!!

  • awesome song

  • BHT, I know Griff.

  • What Concert was this >

  • redhook brewery, 9/10/05!!! Smarten up!

  • Todd Park Mohr is a rare talent, top-shelf singer/songwriter who plays a pretty mean lead guitar. Superb musicianship all around, from the band as well.

  • do you think he/they ever tire of playing this albatross?!?

  • funny name for a BADASS band!!!rock on boys rock on!!!

  • he's awesome :)

  • BHTM Awesome!!!!

  • BHT are one of a kind, what a gift to us all they are..todd is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who is in a class of his own...dont ever stop playing guys~

  • This is the 1st song I fell in love with...the rest is history!!!!!

  • I would love to have Todd's children....sexy hot man!

  • He's been married for some time - a blond woman who is a sculptor, although he might be a paligymist - just kidding.

  • TODD ..ur the best~!!

  • i love this song
