Because i'm the one who posts videos of myself on YouTube MIMING a song from Phantom! :| You look like a knob! And no matter what anyone says, miming IS NOT a talent! prick!
This mask does have elasticated string on it, you just can't see it very clearly in the video, so it's just your average Phantom mask you'd find in most joke/fancy dress shops. You probably can get proper ones without string that fit onto your face in some other way, but they'd probably be more expensive and I wouldn't know where to look, sorry.
LOL, thanks, but, my God, I thought this was terrible miming. I forgot half the words and had to kind of blurb them out, mouthing absolute rubbish. Thanks though, it's so sweet when people post nice comments. Luke :-)
I like the way Luke has dressed up for the part of the Phantom. Brought back wonderful memories when I saw the production in New York City last year. Have you ever heard Michael Crawford singing this song and others from the production? Mr. Crawford puts a bit more power into the song. Neverheless, the song is wonderful regardless of who sings it.
Oh yes, you've got to dress up, hehe! Thanks for the comment :-) I have heard Michael Crawford's version, yes. He was a very impressive Phantom, the true original! This is the Gerard Butler version from the 2004 movie. I have also seen the stage production, but in the West End in London not in NYC.
i like the miming. maybe next time you can mime and sing! im sure you are great, don't be bashful. i know you will do fine!
