  • You glossed over the fact that you can change the springs (an boost) on almost ANY waste gate. An "expensive boost controller" is NOT always required.

  • @enfourcer It wasn't intended to deceive, there are only so many ways to change boost to cover in this topic, but we'll cover it later. Yes, you can change springs in any wastegate to change boost, which you can also do with Synchronic, but it is rather inconvenient on many applications. On the dyno, you have to wait for it to cool down every time to change springs. You can also bleed the boost source, or use a regulator or MBC, just too many things to cover in a few seconds.

  • I have one. If vacuum is ported to C, can I adjust my boost controller to make about 15lbs?

  • @xpectz Absolutely, just like any wastegate with vac/boost to any port to open. But don't use Vac, use boost-only. You can also use Port D to do this to make even more boost without having to change out your springs.

  • How much does a 44mm vband one go for?

  • @BrabusTKR

    Around $350

  • @BrabusTKR You can hit the link on the description above to go to the catalog. Our equivalent 44mm is actually a 50mm valve and bolts up to the same flange & supports up to 1500 HP each.
