It's the same tooth (a first molar), but it has two roots. The crown is absent (destroyed by caries, I guess) so he is removing first the distal root at 1:40, and then the mesial at 2:10.

Anyway, I don't understand why is he doing the proccedure like that... :S

The rubber dam is just a nuisance, with a coronal seal on the root treated tooth (which wasn't completed) I would have taken it off before completing the extraction. Was that an extra premolar or a retained root from a previous molar that was extracted?

I got my wisdom tooth out today and a molar on the top above it and the wisdom tooth didn't hurt at all, just pressure but the top molar OH MY FUCKING GOD. I swear he didn't numb the top one up enough I have never had that much pain in my life. EVER. And it took FOREVER to get it out. Oh dear Lord. Always ask your dentist for a bite block! It will keep you from getting lock jaw. Another thing you might want to do is wear chap stick, or have the doctor apply either Vaseline or a water based lubricant on you lips. It saves from chapped lips or lips cracking at the corner of your mouth.
