  • Awesome choice in music! d=(^_^)=b

  • are there any better step by steps or anything. this is all sped up, sort of bad for meticulousness

  • what are those songs?

  • My problem happened to me 2 days ago where I woke up and I had a text message that had appeared on my screen. Now last night I had just played Dope Wars and got 5.4 million at end game, with all dept paid off. I put it on the charger. It wasn't hot when I woke up, the top keys, and the flip up number keys wouldn't work. I opened up the second flip for the full keyboard and it works... So I restart, same thing when it boots. Keyboard works, but no top keys!! Will opening and putting back help?

  • Well, I found out that my phone is very sick... LOL Taking it apart my have helped, but not fixed fully... Something else wrong and I need to get a new phone. Thanks tho for the movie to help me take it apart... It was fun...

  • that depends on what's wrong with the screen, it could be a broken screen or a broken cable, you'll have to check manually....

  • the music was epic lol cool

  • you can open it to replace the screen anytime if you're able to locate a replacement screen for it, the headphone jack is harder to replace but it wouldn't interfere with the screen on your ocean, its probably possible to buy an replacement screen from pantech if you contact them

  • I'm not sure if that would be the best option, the drop could've cracked the plastic plate holding the 3 plates together, while taking it apart could Possibly help by removing/repairing the broken component, it also might cause problems in re-assembling if the damage was the areas where the screws go through, and unless you have plastic repairing epoxy and proper tools, you might have problems putting it back together after u open it up...

  • hm, I cant answer that without looking at it first. it could be anything from firmware malfunction (requiring a reset) or physical damage to the speaker itself...

  • u could go to settings and do the factory reset and see if it works, but if he did drop it, then its possible the speaker or wires were damaged and you may need to have the speaker part replaced

  • well if the off button doesn't work, have you tried taking out the battery out for bout a minute and putting it back in? it might be possible some wires got shaken loose, but i cant think of why the screen wouldn't turn on.. hmm

  • lol, cuz im a tech and i can fix anything from laptops to plasma TVs? and i also like taking random things apart to figure out how they work

  • haha, you probably could do it yourself if you can find replacement screens somewhere. most likely online

  • haha thx... umm, as far as i can tell the GPS is built into the main board... maybe its possible but u would need a separate decoder for the GPS data and some wireless broadband to download the map data.. i think its not worth the amount of effort required to make it work lmao

  • theres 3 types of screws used on the phone... are you sure ur screwing the right ones in the appropriate slots?

  • after u get the qwerty part off, to open the silver slide, u have to pry the plastic cover off after removing the screws, it takes a lil bit of work with a flat screwdriver...

  • maybe... there was a few hollow spaces here and there... :D

  • im using a #3 from a screwdriver kit just for electronics u can get at any hardware store like ACE.. but, if its a cross tip, and the shaft fits in the holes where the screws are, then it should work... the screws are installed really tight so u have to apply some pressure at first, just be careful to not strip the tip of the screws...

  • no, that flappy thing is the cable that connects all the plates together... there is no removable sim card on this phone... i think its integrated into the main processor board.. the only slot there is, is for a microSD memory card...

  • haha actually it was because one of the connections between the first 2 plates were loose and some keys malfunctioned... but... i guess just play the video backwards?.. hahaha its almost the same thing
