Power Suit – Most basic version. 0:14 & 0:19 (just different art styles)

All the other ones you can sort of think of as upgrade aftermarket parts.

The only one that is fundamentally different is the Fusion Suit. 0:39

Oh and some of them are just different art style drawings of the same suit.

@MrBigstevey The classical upgrades are Varia Suit (orange - round shoulders) to withstand extreme heat and then Gravity Suit (purple) for better underwater movement.

All the other ones are just one off suits/upgrades for a specific game with a specific purpose. For example Phazon Suit to withstand phazon, Dark Suit to withstand Dark Aether atmosphere, PED Suit to use the phazon that is corrupting your body, etc…

After being infected with an X-parasite on planet SR388, and after the infected Power Suit was removed (as many parts as possible), doctors found that the organic parts of the power suit bonded with her body. She got infused with metroid DNA to kill the X-parasite within her and what remained is the Fusion Suit.

1:13 I'd call that suit the Omega Suit. primarily because it looks like it would protect against all hazards AND grant a defense of 87% (can't have the 90 or 100 because you have to take damage of some kind.) it's only possible weakness... maybe ice... if that.
