If anyone wants to make a building easily with pre-designed wall sections, in 3d warehouse search collections for "outer wall sections" by Tim. I used the sections and put them together and my building looks well cool! the guy says that once you put the sections together, you can put thin layers of carpet or wallpaper over the top :) try it out 5*

I hate autoCAD too. You'd be better off taking photos of buildings and drawing them and later designing an original building with pencil and paper!

why would you ever turn a sketchup model into a model that actually looks like its been sketched on a computer example at 2:09? if u want that, be a real architect and draw the god damn thing

Because not everyone is actually creating a bulding, thats for example a good way to create backgrounds for comicbooks and other artsy projects. The same 2:09 sketchy look is unbelivably difficult and/or expensive to get with other tools, 3dmax for example.

Create the object (the chair in your example) and make it a component. If you place your chair component in a number of places, then decide to change the appearance of the chairs, you can just edit the one component and they'll all change to match. This is available in the free version.

What you have is GOOGLE SKETCHUP 7, not GOOGLE SKETCHUP PRO 7. the difference is that sketchup pro is for work and things like that. you have sketchup 7 which is only allowed for your own amusement. if caught using it for anything other that fun or other uses you will get in trouble. don't be ignorant and misslead people.
