I do hope that Pink Floyd eventually put their version out. I think it would have been a better use of space than "More Blues" and "Party Sequence", but bygones be bygones....
For the quality (and buried lyrics) of the More film audio, I'm majorly impressed with what Kerr & Langford have done here.....salvaged the song, and made it their own. Actually gives the original a new dimension, rather than try to simply emulate Floyd's arrangement (which no one could do better anyway). Kudos.
Sounds ok to me. What I could hear on the film sounds much better and actually sounds to me like it may have been one of the better songs on the album. Floyd NEEDS to put this on a collection CD badly. Not this version, the original version obviously. Surely it's better than 99% of modern rock music being recorded these days.
I'm not a huge fan either. I figured people might want to hear it since it's been mentioned over and over again on Pink Floyd message boards and on Youtube.
@Neanderthal78 Yeah, I also wish I could hear the original full version. Alas, I think the band themselves pretty much did this song in by scrapping it from the album. I guess the reason is that this song was probably Waters' last attempt at emulating Syd style, a direction that the band considered anachronistic and failed by 1969.
Lovely job, very sweet.

Great version. Did you use the musical score? I believe the score was released, but not the recording.
