Stunning tale, and a real musician. His performance of the last pages of the G minor Ballade at the end of the video was breathtaking; I have a truly precocious friend who played this, and it had none of the grandeur that Lisiecki's playing has. Bravo.

I like what he said about even the composer not knowing the full potential of his compositions. Think of Beethoven playing his magnificent compositions on the much cruder fortepianos of his lifetime!
