Oh tell me about it. I got the chills with the kickass music and that raw gritty barren atmosphere, then I was completely sold with the whole 'You think your human?' part
I mean that was such an interesting concept that I never thought of before. What if skynet didn't know how to remove the human element completely, and learned to do so later. Ugh, so sad....=/
I remember how the old terminator gave me nightmares and im starting to get that creppy "end of the world/everyone a robot/GAME-OVER MAN, feeling back.
I think this is going to be a fantastic Terminator movie...judging by the trailers.. if not a new scifi classic. McG has seem to have taken the beauty of James Cameron's vision and amplified it, muddied it up, but is still staying true. It seems like it will be a gritty, dark film for a modern audience, much like the old terminators were back then (of course they are still amazing) The cg looks amazing and I think this has the potential to be more epic than its predecessors.
It's the Terminator movie I have always wanted to see. As great as the old ones were they had their limitations. I think this next trilogy has the potential to totally redefine the franchise. Terminator has always been one of my favorites bc deep down its such a human film. It touches on what it means to be human on so many levels. And I know a lot of people hate the Sarah Connor Chronicles but I think it also holds it's own in the Terminator universe.
I love the whole concept they are going with in this movie. Feels very Battlestar Galacticaish (new one). People make machines, then machines make people, or in this case machines alter people. The look of this movie has me real excited also. I was hoping for a Mad Max type of setting, and it looks like we got it. Bring on March 21st, and pleeeaase be rated R!!!
yea me too i kinda had doubts about this movie with the first 2 trailers i saw but i was gonna see it any ways because im such a huge fan. but after seeing this trailer i definatley feel alot better to go and see it more.
i think it takes time for the laser guns get there remember that this movie is just the first of 2 more movies that are gonna come out after this one so i guess there just setting it up.
Initially I had doubts, and still won't compare this to anything James Cameron has made - 'T2' was one of the highlights of my teenage movie-going years, and I liked 'T3'. I truly feel director McG is going for authenticity and it's been evident in the trailers, especially this one. For instance, the Terminator robots themselves actually look quite creepy in this, (especially that "T-600") and that alone, is a good thing :-)
The fact that this film was partly written by Johnathan Nolan, the co-writer of The Dark Knight and brother of Christopher Nolan, doesn't hurt either.
watched it can't get enough of this movie
