The thing I find nice about this cartoon is that this seems to be where they started making an effort to make Mickey a little more flawed and less perfect. As a symbol for Disney, people tend to think of Mickey as the ultimate goody two-shoes. However, here we see a Mickey who's hooked on video games and who forgets his anniversary. He's a little more human and prone to funnier situations as a result.

Holy cow, I can see how this might give little kids nightmares! o.O It's always fun to see Mickey in intense situations, though in this case, people may not have been ready for it. Thankfully, I think Kingdom Hearts has done a lot to reintroduce Mickey as a fighter. Looking forward to Epic Mickey!

This is an awesome cartoon! I remember hearing about it when I was little but being really frightened by the adverts... although it is still quite scary now!

The animation is brilliant though.. disney should have never stopped doing hand animation.
