Have you seen the Killzone 3 trailer? It's basically Killzone 2 with snow and jetpacks... meh. Also, i find Killzone 2 to be very generic. It's fun for one playthrough then after that the single player is boring. Honestly, i agree that the singleplayer should come first in games. Alot of games in the past had only singleplayer and those games survived for years. Multiplayer in most games for me gets repetitive after a few matches except for games like Quake and Serious Sam.
I'm not rich at all man, I just know how to shop around, and a lot of my games in my collection I got near the end of each system's life when stores were trying to dump their inventory for cheap.
It's like now with the Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox, it's the best time to collect games for those systems, because they're only going to go up in price from here.
Like you said, it's overhyped, I've seen nothing revolutionary in it, neither the atmosphere nor the story kept me wanting to play. It was just a standard, nice looking shooter. the Online was quite good though.
Oh I will, but now I feel like I have to be more interesting. That's all. Of course I've played more games than these. but these are the main ones that I played when I wasn't wanting to capture video.
I agree with your overall assessment of Killzone 2. It's a competent shooter, nothing more - and while the graphics engine is impressive from a purely technological standpoint, the art design (i.e. WWII fetischism plus eleven shades of dirt brown) is unimaginative to say the least...
I'm not trying to attack the game, I'm enjoying it a lot, but it's not as good as it's hyped to be, but nothing this gen has been (including Halo 3) IMO.
Yes, it's pretty good, but it wasn't revolutionary. That's my point. It's good, but like a lot of the games this generation, it's extremely over hyped.

When you do get a chance to play online, I would like to play with you if it would be ok. I'm looking for people to play it with.

I sold my killzone 2 after 3 levels, it was too boring for me.

You should have at least played through it first before selling it.

I agree with you on Killzone 2. I find it to be a very solid and polished game but it's not revolutionary.

Thanks. Unfortunately, it puts pressure on me to try and be interesting in what I choose to play now, but that's not a bad thing I guess.

Variety never hurt anyone. Surely though, keep to what you want to play.
