  • how about this:

    ratio is 6:5 so the length is 6k and the breadth is 5k. That gives area of the picture as 30k^2

    Therefore

    30k^2 = 18*15 -30k^2

    or 60k^2 = 2*9*15

    0r 2k^2 = 9

    Terefore K = 3/sqrt2

    and L = 3*K = 9/sqrt2
