not for flattrack racing it was built for being a slow street engine the only xl's raced were the 883's "sportster performance series" wich was a flop and some 1200's were raced in the "supertracker" series but proved uncompetive and unreliable there might still be a few 1200's being raced in gnc but havent placed aginst the xr's and tl's
A fiberglass seat and an aluminum gas tank doesn´t make a flattracker... That´s an Evo Sportster street bike.
