@louierperez Depends where in L.A. Yes it is multicultural. However, L.A does have a lot of crime in certain parts of the city, such as South Central and it does still suffer from smog.

I walked downtown LA at 2A.M. to my friends dads apartment when I was 17. It's safe! You're safer walking the streets of south central then driving rush hour on the 101.

Hey I'm not from the States, but Im going to the states, I only have Orlando, FL on my list of visits, do you think LA is worth visiting? After watching this video I'm convinced, but it would help if you added some xtra info. Thx :)

LA is well worth a visit, as it is a city unlike many others. Like any city, it has it's ups and downs. The upside is that you can see where all the stars hang out and see the famous sights, like the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Chinese Theatre.

The downside is that by day, L.A is ok to walk in, but you certainly wouldn't walk down the Walk of Fame by night as it is rough.

We did everything during the day, but nighttime was spent in the hotel.

So put a L.A on your list. You'll love it!

LA is the best city i been2. It felt like home 2bh, it was weird. I just clicked with ppl there compared to london. I know it can be tough but i come from a tough part of the UK so south central was a bit like where i know anyway! i hope to go again and im going to sunset and santa monica the longest and going briefly around beverly hills and hollywood for one day. it's too touristy. Sunset is the best. I wish i'd bought tickets for kings AND lakers tho cos i missed kobe's last second shot! :(

No. The weather in Los Angeles is not very cold in January. I'd say mild.

Daytime temperatures can be very pleasant, i.e 20C. Nighttime temperatures do drop considerably i.e 4C or 5C, so it's worth packing a jumper and a jacket.

I was born in Manhattan (NYC) and recentley moved here. And I gotta say that New York is a little better but los angeles is still an amazing city!

You just have to be careful on where you live in L.A.

I went to NYC in July and had an amazing time :) Just like any city, there are good and bad parts. I found central Manhattan to be a very safe and had no problem going about with my cameras. L.A though had me a little on edge especially at night, but still a great city!
