Im american, but i had the joy to grow up in Brazil. I've been in Niagara and Iguazu and I have to say that only in Iguazu I had the best experience with nature in my whole life. I remember walking by the path and the butterflies started to land on me, aniamls like the quati coming from the bushes, beatiful birds, looked like a fucking Disney movie.
Both Argentina and Brazil have to treat with care and pride.
Incredible.. Beautiful place, astonishing.. simply WONDERFUL. They say: you can see the waterfalls from the Brazilian side, but you can FEEL them from the Argentine side. I agree!! Been there!

IGUAZU means = huge water, huge falls, in "guaraní " a language spoken in Paraguay...... this is not from brasil or argentina....... but they say otherwise...
Guaíra Falls was the largest water fall by volume in the world before the Brazilian government ordered a dam to be built at the site of Guaíra Falls in the late 1970´s. This Dam caused the falls to be completely covered by water in 1982. Furthermore the Brazilian government then ordered the complete destruction of the rock face that made up the falls (Brazil said it was done to make navigation easier); preventing any environmental attempts at restoring the falls in the future.
Actually the New York falls of Niagara and Genesee ( middle falls of Letchworth state park ) are much more beautiful and no where on earth does so much water go over any falls than Niagara. The sound is like thunder!

@awmish1 I agree on the point of hydro electric at Niagara Falls. I enjoyed Niagara very much and how much big water there was. To see all those hydro electric plants emerging from the rock and all the shops, amusements, golf courses, hotels carved into the countryside had me in wonder about what Niagara Falls really was ! Yes, the photographer watched the falls on both sites (Brazilian and Argentinian) for about 2 days without Iphone of something like that. But in my point of view the music fits to the video, as a lot of other people do (read the comments). Other people don't like this, that the personal taste of one and another.

The sight of the falls is impressive - but... why do people feel the need to add music and singing? It detracts from the experience of witnessing nature - why can't we stand silent in awe of nature? Did the photographer stand and listen to absorb the magnificent sight, or was the sound masked by an iphone plugged into the ears? Can you repost without the intrusive music?

@Bonbon54220 your wrong. I've spent alot of time in Niagra Falls and it took one visit to Iguazu and i can honestly say that its waaaaay cooler than Niagra. Not as powerful, but cooler.
looks amazing. I agree with the other guy, I've been to Niagra Falls, and i honesly didn't care for it much, it didn't look that spectacular and it's out their in the big city. This looks like niagra falls killer though, definitely not the tallest, beautiful for sure.
I have been to Niagara and the Iguazu and i am not from the US or Canada nor am i from Brazil or Argentina. The Iguazu kicks Niagara's Ass. Everything in the iguazu is much better than Niagara. Maid of the mist in Niagara doesn't even compare to the boat ride in Iguazu.

The boat tour under some of the falls is amazing. I recommend doing it! I almost cried when I did it; For us, who live here, is so good to see that people from all around the globe bestow great praise upon Iguassu Waterfall's... Thx =D
I'm amazed, awed, and inspired. A truly magnificent sight. Every drop in the waterfall falls in the perfect place. Imagine seeing this at dawn... Simply spectacular!
Just came back... Argentina owns 70% of the falls, but Brazil has the best view. Paraguay doesn't share a single bit of it, it's on the other side of Paraná river, some miles away.

@Bonbon54220 your wrong. I've spent alot of time in Niagra Falls and it took one visit to Iguazu and i can honestly say that its waaaaay cooler than Niagra. Not as powerful, but cooler.

looks amazing. I agree with the other guy, I've been to Niagra Falls, and i honesly didn't care for it much, it didn't look that spectacular and it's out their in the big city. This looks like niagra falls killer though, definitely not the tallest, beautiful for sure.

I have been to Niagara and the Iguazu and i am not from the US or Canada nor am i from Brazil or Argentina. The Iguazu kicks Niagara's Ass. Everything in the iguazu is much better than Niagara. Maid of the mist in Niagara doesn't even compare to the boat ride in Iguazu.

@kmelon25 Hey, well I was born here and I speak spanish of course. I know a lot about the falls. Iguazú is not a big city but you can find a lot of hotels and hostels. You should visit the falls, it's a magical place and there's a lot of americans here visiting the falls. Contact me if you want to know more about it. Paul

The boat tour under some of the falls is amazing. I recommend doing it! I almost cried when I did it; For us, who live here, is so good to see that people from all around the globe bestow great praise upon Iguassu Waterfall's... Thx =D

I'm amazed, awed, and inspired. A truly magnificent sight. Every drop in the waterfall falls in the perfect place. Imagine seeing this at dawn... Simply spectacular!

Just came back... Argentina owns 70% of the falls, but Brazil has the best view. Paraguay doesn't share a single bit of it, it's on the other side of Paraná river, some miles away.
