This is great! However, it's NOT rumba. The dancer's are doing the folkloric dances of Oricha's Changó and Ochún.....and dancing them beautifully!

Dude, this is SO Rumba... You are confused with the "international ballroom RHumba" that the Americans and Europeans invented based on the Bolero and Son.

Cuban Rumba can be broken down into three types:Yambú,Guaguancó and Columbia.Afro-Cuban rumba is entirely different than Ballroom Rumba,or the African style of pop music called rumba.Rumba developed in rural Cuba, and is still danced in Havana, Mantanzas and other Cuban cities as well as rural areas,especially those with a significant or predominant black community, although now it is infused with influences from Jazz and Hip Pop.Yes we have Yoruba religion in Cuba,Brazil,ect.But this is cuban

The name "rumba" for this file is misleading. This is not rumba but actually one of the African-american (not US) Yoruba religious dances. It is part of ´Santeria´a set of rituals to worship the African God ´Changó´, god of masculinity, dance and fire. The film is superb, but the author should name it with the actual name.
