well i guess Lavinia was better dead than dump or married to someone who was never going to really love her..i love this show it made my sundays happy...I just saw today the last episode of season 2 and i believe i was the only one that didnt know mari"s secret cause i never saw the first season.BTW i believe the spanish flu episode was AMAZING!!!!

I think the screenwriter, Julian Fellowes, has defended Lavinia of a great suffering that would have had (to be the wife of a man who would never had loved her). I'm glad you watched season 2, I think and I'm sure must see Season 1, until October 2012, when season three will be aired.

From my point of view, second season was much more exciting that first season.

Ooh! A spoiler! It's ok though. Will be just as excited when this episode airs and I'll be able to hear the whole dialogue. Matthew and Mary have amazing chemistry! I like how he furrows his brow as he's kissing her because his heart aches for her. Ya, they are cousins, but it was a different time. When in Rome! Thx for posting!

Video is the end of episode 8 of season two, in my opinion one of the most exciting moments of the series. And I think the writer (Julian Fellowes), with these sequences, make the transition to season three. As I know not everyone in the U.S. have seen season two (dialogues are really moving). I love the character that is strong and independent Mary!!!!! Some people believe that it is pourait a manipulative bitch, but I think she looks like a woman has many fata. She and Matthew are really a very nice couple together!!!! The music is super nice too!!! Done almost wept while listening!! So romantic!!!!!!
