  • Alot of people on here who have made a comment for the pro killing cant even fucking spell, fucking idiots. Its pretty simple, you like to see death & destruction, your fucking morbid & have no friends. The only friend you have is your pet fucking hawk or falcon or eagle or whatever you may have. Go get a fucking life you low life bunch of fucking wankers.

Sorry about all the fucking swearing but i felt the only way to get across to you fucking arseholes is if i fucking swear alot.

  • Awesome vid!

  • die

  • hi

  • Lovely. Was that a female or male?

  • ok people just shut the hell up and if u think its worng dont watch it. and falconry actully saves birds of prey cuz 75 percent of them die before they reach maturaty idfk how to spell that but falconers arent going to take what comes natrually to their birds otherwise they would be misserable so how boout u stop looking up videos u think are wrong just to start arguments and go die in a hole u ass holes

  • Nice catch. I wish I had the time to keep and look after a hawk.

  • This DIDN"T happen in nature so all it teaches me is that you're a sick SOB who has issues. It's the same as a canned hunt which is highly illegal and OUTSIDE of nature. You know nothing about nature or naturalists, evidently, you're doing this just for you're OWN sick pleasure which is why you have issues.

  • What is your rationalization that you are not part of Nature? That this man in this video is not part of nature? How have you removed your self from nature?

  • This is sick. If it happens in the wild fine. This didn't. People who do this stuff have issues, BIG issues.

  • Sengalese Conservationist and Naturalist Baba Dioum Said;

'In the end, we will protect only what we love.

We will love only what we understand.

We will understand only what we are taught.'

So go take a hike, open your eys and pay attention, Nature will teach you. You are part of nature. The people that do this Love these birds, They have learned from these birds, Nature has taught them respect for both the Raptor and their prey. It is all part of nature.

  • The Fascinating thing about Nature is there is a balance. Disease is controlled naturally by eliminating the weak. There are two things in this video that show this is happening. first you can tell the exact moment the Hawk DECIDES which Duck it should take. there is an abrupt turn to the right. Then next thing is hard to see. I watched this video dozens of times before i saw it. The duck that the Hawk bound to has an irregular wing beat. Compare the beat to the duck behind it.

  • I have had enough. I am sick and tired of these animals killing each other simply for food, they should just go to the local grocery and buy their meat like the rest of the world. -end sarcasm-

  • I am a follower of New Guinea people's feeding habits. I want to hunt human beings to eat them: unfortunately this is not legal, why? It is nature. So I watch Dexter and try to find a bit of consolation... I would like to hunt sportively, strong humans of course, not children - hunters are among my favourite prowls! men are a best source of proteins

  • That was awesome :D

  • thats awesome!!!!

  • I meant hawks

  • Why don't you falconers mix hwaks like you do with falcons, I have seen lot of crossing falcon species, but never hwaks or eagles.

  • THAT IS FUCKING AWESOME!!! u train it urself???

  • Comment removed

  • Very nice job getting that goshawk to catch a duck on the rise! What else do you hawk with her?

  • Thats kool and i bet it sucks geting all of those hate comments all of the time...

  • wow i want to be this man COOL

  • a very nice video thanx 4 uploading.it does'nt make sense to argue with fools regarding those comments, plz upload some more thanx, goodluck.

  • lmao, yeh mate, dont call him a faggot because hes married, when did faggots ever have a wife???? as for the guy with the militarytraining, lmao so its o.k for you lot to kill innocent women and children in wars but , this guys using a hawk which is gunna have to hunt to survive in the wil anyway, you give him abuse?,id rather keep a hawk that u let fly free than cage a parrot,

    excellent video pal,

  • This is a great video! Your Gos looks awesome! just leave these fools who have problems with hunting, maybe one day they will change their views.

  • Nice video. I'm pretty sure you aren't the falconer, but none the less I'm sorry that you have to go through PETA lovers. Also, if I were you I would just delete comments rather than fight back. Falconry is a practice that people should look up to, and by fighting with childish people does not look good for the sport.

  • Awesome flight :)

  • this is pretty cool

  • If they landed in the water, say bye to the hawk...

  • @gymlord

actually thats only with ospreys and bald eagles. i saw another video about a goshawk that caught a duck in the water and then flew off with it.

  • @4luvfishing What u mean? Ospreys only eat fish, so of course they will not get hurt in the water, But I may have misunderstood your comment lol so could u please explain it again for me

  • @gymlord sorry for my unclarity. what i mean is that this hawk caught a duck. and ducks cant swim very well when a predator grabs onto the. another factor is that hawks can ,as a mater o fact, can release the prey and "row" the way to the shore. Seeing one do this would look very comical i imagine :D. fishing birds also have different designed talons so that when they grab onto prey they cant release immediately. and i'm just about out of letters ,so, bye!

  • Nice footage and good slow motion. Thanks for posting.

  • How did this whole comment section get talking about how healthy vegans are? wtf, this is about this goshawk. Very beautiful bird, by the way. I wish to be a falconer (more specifically, an austringer), but I can't afford it. *sigh*. Someday.........

  • Just because you personally refuse to eat meat doesn't stop a hawk killing an duck, a lion killing a zebra, or a snake a mouse. I admire the fact that people are vegitarians. I don't have the self restraint. As long as the falconer makes sure that the death of the captured prey is quick and efficent, there really should be no opposition. In the wild, when a hawk takes a rabbit, the death of the rabbit is not so fast. No predators = over population. Just a thought.

  • What about cats playing with mice? Have you ever seen a coyote catch a rabbit? Have you ever seen a bird dog sniff out a pheasant? You can see the joy on their faces. Is it primal? Yes. Is it wrong? No. Perhaps Jose Ortegay Gassett answered this assertion best: "I don't hunt to kill, I kill in order to have hunted". Strict vegan diets can be dangerous, especially for expectant mothers and children. In addition to being potentially deficient for teenagers who require a full spectrum of nutrients

  • Perhaps you didn't understand me right, tennisfan.

I don't want the lion stop killing a zebra. I just want humans stop killing animals, because they do it just for fun. In the rich countries they are not starving to death if they don't eat meat or other animal products.

  • Dont watch the fcukin vid if u dont like it, We dont go onto your vids and criticise how u pick fcuking vegetables.....

  • meanie!

  • take that duck

  • Awesome video! love those hawks!

  • Enver001,

you are an animal abuser. Stop that killing an do something meaningful.

  • natija08, stop trolling hunter's channels and posting your mindless rants. Most people could read a book or do a little research, in your case I would just try and master the frisbee.

  • Stop stalking me, b1ankuberalles,

I can give a comment wherever I want.

Do you really think your comments would be suspicious to win the noble price of literature? And I say it once more: You seem to have no arguments on your side, so you try to insult me.

  • Americans consume more than 750 million pounds of wild game annually, an amount of meat equal to about 2 million slaughtered cattle. We eat what we kill and give? hundreds of thousands of pounds of "good" meat to the needy each year. Since 2000, the Venison Donation Coalition has coordinated the collection and distribution of nearly 500,000 pounds of ground venison (highly nutritious, low fat, high protein meat) for distribution by food banks to those in need.

  • You said, you eat what you kill, b1ankuberalles.

So do you really eat coyotes, wolves, craws, prairie dogs, foxes, bears etc.?

And why do you hunt with bows? It means more suffer for the hunted animals!

It's not necessary to eat meat. I was a vegetarian for more than 20 years and for 1 year I'm a vegan. I'm healthier than ever and happy with my decision.

  • You assume to much, I don't hunt with a bow and arrow. Never have... I hunt with custom high powered rifles, shooting handloads using premium bullets. I strive for quick, clean kills. As a vegan, how many dietary supplements are you required to take everyday to ensure you receive enough nutrients?

  • I only supplement b12.

In India there are living vegans, who know nothing about b12 and they are healthy and got enough b12.

    B12 is produced by bacteria.

Tell me please, why do many omnivores supplement a lot of vitamins and minerals? Is it necessary for them to do so?

  • Veganism as a concept is practically unknown in India. In India, they have very few vegans. People who are vegetarian in India are usually Lacto-vegetarians. Lacto-vegetarians consume dairy products, and this country consumes a lot of them. India is the number one milk-producing country in the world, and dairy products are a vital part of the diet, in both rural and urban areas.

  • All around us are items connected in some way to animal exploitation: organic foods (animal manure used as fertilizer), cotton (animal products in the bleaching process), bicycles (animal fat used in the vulcanization of tires), books (hooves and bones in binding glue), roads and buildings (animal products used in curing concrete), water (tested with animal products, often filtered through bone char), etc. Even many vegan foods result in killing some animals during planting and harvesting.

  • You are right, b1ankuberalles.

We can only try to avoid the exploitation and killing of animals as much as we can.

If you want to stop all that, start with all the flesh you eat.

  • natija08, another mindless cunt... Americans consume more than 750 million pounds of wild game annually, an amount of meat equal to about 2 million slaughtered cattle. We eat what we kill and give hundreds of thousands of pounds of "good" meat to the needy each year. Since 2000, the Venison Donation Coalition has coordinated the collection and distribution of nearly 500,000 pounds of ground venison (highly nutritious, low fat, high protein meat) for distribution by food banks to those in need.

  • Organizations like Ducks Unlimited have saved more than 12 million acres of wetland habitat, Pheasants Forever has participated in nearly 1,000 different land acquisitions totaling well over 100,000 acres. Pheasants Forever has also worked closely with state agencies to create additional public hunting opportunities. In Nebraska, those efforts have led to CRP-MAP (Managed Access Program). In Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and South Dakota, PF has Build a Wildlife Area Campaigns up and running.

  • To save wetlands is very good, b1ankuberalles. I love nature and especially the rare habitats like wetlands, primeval forests and dry habitats.

But I don't like the killing of animals.

Why can't you enjoy nature without killing?

  • I could buy my meat pre-processed, filled with hormones and carcinogens from the store. I would rather get my meat from a reputable source-nature. I will also exercise my RIGHT to hunt and stay in touch with the primal hunt-to-live instinct. I don't need an excuse to hunt, and I most certainly don't need to answer to the likes of you.

  • Do US Americans have a RIGHT to hunt?

    I didn't know that.

I think it's the same with you RIGHT to have guns. In Germany you need a gun license (at the age of 18) and you have to lock away the guns and the munition into a safe to protect children from (mis)using them. This year we had a school massacre at the town Winnenden, where a young men killed pupils and teachers and other persons before he killed himself. He had the chance to use his father's gun. Awful.

  • P.S. I think there is no "hunt-to-live-INSTINCT". You learned hunting from your father, I suppose.

My children never learned hunting and wouldn't like it. But they learned to love nature and to respect every living being.

  • Reach into your mouth, feel that sharp tooth behind your incisors, they're canines. They're made for ripping flesh from bone. We're omnivores.

  • Do you want to rip flesh from a bone which isn't cooked?

I mean raw flesh from a dead animal? Raw flesh doesn't taste good. Without cooking, salt and pepper humans don't like it.

But we like the taste of a raw apple or nut, even a raw salad.

I don't think that we ARE omnivores. We CAN EAT flesh (without dying at once), but we don't NEED it.

That's my opinion. I never said you have to follow it. I only beg you to think about it.

  • AWESOME lol

  • good video i say gos hawks or any other hawk can hunt what ever they or we think they should hunt , rabbit , crow , duck , bring it on if its on the food chain or evan not lets give it ago n see if it takes it down lol bring on the swans lmao

  • Your a fuckin proper prick!!!

  • Idiots like you who think it's ok to go out killing animals just to satisfy their own depraved bloodlust cravings make me sick. I can tell from your comments that your of limited intelligence with the brain size of a fkn walnut & so therefore end this argument as ive got better things to do than to converse with a fkn retard like you.

  • First of all i'm not gay i have a wife. second i don't hug trees, whatever that means, & third i don't think i'm intelligent & certainly not posh as i work in construction. Just because i have a basic grasp in English unlike you you primative ape don't make me posh. Now i'm sure the nurse's at the nutter asylum are wondering where the fk you got to? So why don't you just head off back there as i'm sure there's a few windows that need licking clean you idiot?

  • omfg how long did it just take u to think of that u fking cabbage get rapped

  • @markusharrius you sound like a faggot, so I call bullshit on everything you just said hahaha have fun taking it up the ass by your "wife" lulz

  • @markusharrius lmao thats grate lolz.. that made my day.. sometimes u gotta tell them how it is lolz...

  • @markusharrius Maybe he feeds the hawk this way? Its more natural? Hell the Zoo does this, why you not at the zoo ranting? I don't get you tree huggers, you get a bleeding heart on youtube, then go buy a big mac cause cows don't have feelings? Ducks more valueble? I mean if your sad cause you think it died for no reason, hell go span an exterminator, they kill THOUSANDS in a month that do less and they dont eat or use the meat, but all you do is post a quick thing here too feel good. CHEAP!

  • @markusharrius dude its nature. And compared to how many ducks the hawk actually will kill it won't even dent the population of them. So quit being so self righteous

  • You piece of crap guy. Don't aid the hawk in hunting, let him do it's thing by himself. That's bullcrap. Just let it off your house, it'll find food by itself.

  • Ducks are rapists.

  • niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

  • wow!!!

  • FLY DUCKS FLY FOR YOUR LIFESSSSSSSss poor ducks why would you wast a life

  • Great mad fun ... love it :)

  • Nice

  • Great video!! That duck had NO chance!!

  • kool! my dad had a gos hawk but it got off its leash and we never seen it again:(

  • What was the point of doing that? Sick humans

  • It's called falconry...hunting is the point and thanks to people like you that don't understand, the tradition will be lost sooner than later.

  • It's what hawks do. Duh!

  • Man, raptors are so cool. I personally think owls are the coolest. Goshawks are probably second. I was actually ambushed by a northern goshawk in June. Somehow it made 20 holes on the right side of my head and face. I was surprised by the force at which it slammed into me. Lucky it didn't get my eye. It was the first raptor attack the ER doctor had seen in his 30-year career.

  • It was probably a female protecting a nest. they are extremely aggressive with protecting young

  • I shot this video and it is a wild american widgeon in Ontario, CA. The falconer is my friend Mike and the hen American goshawk's name is Meg. This and many other great shots can be seen in the hawking videos entitled "The Road To Bakersfield" and "The Road To Yuba City" from Rocker Hawker Video Productions. Mike

  • def. a wild duck looked like a shoveler

  • Not bad. I'll get a goshawk next year.

But i wont hunt ducks, only rabbits, craws and pigeons.

  • wow cool how do you get one to hunt with?? you buy it from some one or get it when its young? how did you get it?

  • what kind of duck was that i couldnt tell wild or tame also?

  • Very nice! This is really cool.

For all those treehuggers: grow a pair. You really must be having a hard time in this life.

  • cool.whered u get that hawk

  • Ooh a duck big deal I've seen ducks fight back and free themselves...try something worth while a goose or peacock or swan would destroy that pathetic hawk....stop picking on the little guys. Theres no challange.

  • agree, Fuck you you sick fucking son of a bitch human!

i let my goshawk rip you open like a lil duck then well see who gets "OWNED".

  • i love reading what u pussies rite. grow some nuts and become a man

  • @Enver001 You're right, it's just a bird. It needs to eat too. lol. :P

  • @zecumo7nu Oh the sot has spoken! If you would only put as much time into your failing marriage, retarded children's education and care as well as that rewarding home electronics sales job!

  • @zecumo7nu Here's a suggestion, donate the $357.54 you have amassed in savings as a result of your paltry existence to charity and go down to the drugstore, buy a straight razor and then go slash your fucking wrists.

  • Fuck you you sick fucking son of a bitch human! >:

  • well that isnt very nice is it now? i think u should have a long look at yourself and work out ways to be a better person and not try to put others down for the things they like. thank you and i hope you can better yourself from this post.

  • that was kool

  • how do i own goshawk cos i live on a farm and im mad 2 get one 2 hunt with i love hawks

  • This is my favorite hawk and the rad tail hawk too

  • yawn it not cool hunting

  • and what happened if the hawk decides to get his prey down in the other side of that river? how would you recover it?

  • brilliant video. Loved it !!!

  • cla?ssy, brilliant, excellent vid !! get some more on here

  • hahahah talking shott boy, thats yah doing. i guess we both hippocrates, but id slap your ass up for being as young as i am

  • thats pretty cool. but if i ever seen sum1 hunting animals id prolly ambush them, and trust me they wouldnt see it coming. thats where the survival and military training come in. ud be dead before u hit the gound, u and the hawk

  • good one dick head u would kill me 4 killing an animal but u have just said that u would kill the hawk....... next time dont be such a stupid cunt and see wat u have typed. as 4 the military training i didnt think they let stoners and faggot in the army, so stop talking shit a fuck off.

  • @rjmaryjane Less then 200 years ago, you would be killed for saying that. Also, why don't you ambush McDonalds? They kill millions a day, just use your ninja skills, sneek up to some 16 year olds at MickyD's and snipe them out instead of posting pussy ass e-thug comments on youtube for a cheap feeling of humanity when we both know.. you didn't do shit.

"E-Thus, because talking shit in real life.. is dangerous.."

  • that was so awesome

  • pro

  • I believe U.S. residents should contact their state fish and game departments, also they should if they can find out if theres a club/association in their state that they could join.

  • nice im getting a peregrine a goshawk and a gryfalcon

  • maaan nice catch !!! :D 5*

  • great bit of filming, nice goss.

  • i don't endorse this type of behavior, but hawks get a free pass from me.

  • That'll be a dead duck then!

Great vid, there's a few hawking/falconry vids on here but most don't show a bird actually catching prey.
