@gymlord sorry for my unclarity. what i mean is that this hawk caught a duck. and ducks cant swim very well when a predator grabs onto the. another factor is that hawks can ,as a mater o fact, can release the prey and "row" the way to the shore. Seeing one do this would look very comical i imagine :D. fishing birds also have different designed talons so that when they grab onto prey they cant release immediately. and i'm just about out of letters ,so, bye!

In the wild, when a hawk takes a rabbit, the death of the rabbit is not so fast. No predators = over population. Just a thought.

Man, raptors are so cool. I personally think owls are the coolest. Goshawks are probably second. I was actually ambushed by a northern goshawk in June. Somehow it made 20 holes on the right side of my head and face. I was surprised by the force at which it slammed into me. Lucky it didn't get my eye. It was the first raptor attack the ER doctor had seen in his 30-year career.
