I got a BB Bold 9700 from tmobile that when i bought it it was "unlocked" so i started using it with my att sim card, every now and then it started sending me a text sayin " 122 Error Invalid Number. Please resend using a valid 10 digit miobile number or valid short code. Activate t=6" . And now idk why its only running on GSM :\ . Please Help

im new at unblocking phones so sorry if the question sounds dumb...but why would you want to unlock the blackberry?? what does it do for you??

@rick21485 After you unlock your phone you will be able to use it with any GSM provider worlwide.

It means that you can switch to a different provider or if you travel you call buy a local pre paid sim card and use it to get lower rates.

they will not chevy, their actually getting the 9650 which is the same thing just that it is called essex aka tour 2 the only difference between this one and the tour 2 is the back of the cellphone which the bold looks more like the old bold and the new tour the back looks more like the old tour; oh and the side buttons in the tour are chrome... besides that same thing =)
