all they had to do was look at our system of government run markets (the federal reserve) fixing interest rates and in some cases of our history setting price controls. it corrupts capitalism allowing banks and corporations to do whatever they want when they want with no fear of loss and no incentive to save or make smart decisions. +inflation

they should have won the prize for ruining freedom liberty and the constitution
