Israel is working on peace with the Palestinians. If trust can be established, they'll accept a Palestinian state. I support Israel's right to exist and will support Palestinian statehood if I can be assured that it's not part of an attempt to encircle and contain Israel. The State of Palestine likely would consist of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
Just saying. At least I'm a little nicer on this issue than a lot of you are.

They were given something that belonged to someone else by a third party. A couple of examples: 1) Israel was happy with the UN partition plan - it was the Arabs that immediately declared war & vowed to frive the Jews into the sea - yet this states that Zionists immediately began occupying major cities in Palestine?! 2) The land given to Israel was hardly the most fertile, it was mostly the NEGEV desert! 3) Palestine WAS quite empty around the 1860's & many writers documented how desolate it was.
