  • its a cool vid

  • Christina Ricci has some serious sex appeal. Anyone ever seen that movie where she plays a ghost?? Shes naked for half of it.

  • @Wwdancwe690 Blues originated with no specific cause because it changed over extremely long periods of time. The biggest influence on blues, and what many believed help it form, were songs from Africa and later songs sung by African-american workers in the U.S. Folk music was not a direct cause to blues, but a very distant catalyst that helped set a trend and style for the music we listen to today.

  • i didnt get my girl to like this song, "a dick did" to it she is though

  • christina ricci own my faping hand!!!!

  • @1:17 lmaooooo

  • Country Slut Slut Slut!!!! It's So Hot!

  • Now, THIS is hardcore blues!!!!!! Luv, luv, luv it.

  • What are you doin w/ that white girl chained to your radiator?

  • @123NateDee hahaha

  • @almostcounsel Rock and Roll originated from Rhythm and Blues in the early fifties. It hit hard and fast with a predominate beat. Jazz, Blues, and Classical have strong influence on rock music, but Blues is what sparked the Rock and Roll era, along with the electric Guitar. Folk music is used to add flavor to a band, like The Dropkick Murphys, but it did not directly help it form, only influenced it later.

  • @MrHav0k actually folk from there was a heavy influence in blues.

  • Christina Ricci is so hot as a slut!!!!

  • @drewdudy this movie shows what 'sluts' need ;) lmao

  • Fuck the movie, It's all about the fucking Black Keys.

  • the girl in black snake moan wasnt even bad.

you guys didnt go to my high school.

  • is the movie any good? well, i liked it, but the premise was a bit far-fetched, and christina over-acted a tad regarding her nymphomania (use of sex without satisfaction as self-punishment) but she made up for it all in the wardrobe department.

  • <3 so much love.

  • Hot damn this tune is HOT...luvved it even bfore the black keys were the sh*t...that is some damn fine blues, thank u black keys

  • rock ,blues and country muisk r the best songs ever fuck pop, rap, metal and punk muisk

  • Great song for a highly UNDERRATED film. Maybe I'm too much of a blues fan, but Black Snake Moan was an outstanding performance by both Jackson and Ricci. Like I said, highly underrated.

  • So if this movie came out in 2006, and I saw it in theaters, and fell in love with the band then, I've been a fan for around 5 years already? Sounds amazing to say it because I looked up their music right after seeing the movie and it hit home. Especially now.

  • @KingGoose24 hahaha damn, me too and im a girl!

  • @famdiaz04

    Yeah, it is.

  • @famdiaz04 its fucking incredible with just a dash of awesome

  • hells yes!

  • what an awesome song

  • @SubliminalWars Yeah, I'm just saying that it varies from person to person. No one can make an accurate statement that one thing is horrible and another is great. I agree with though you in that I like blues better than most pop, but I know my opinion isn't fact.

  • @SubliminalWars in your opinion. I understand that it`s difficult for people who prefer one type of music to not see the strengths of other types, but I can't call one "NOTHING" in comparison to another. Even a two line ballad from the 1500s is an amazing piece of music.

  • Wow that opening riff sounds an AWFUL lot like "When the Levee Breaks"...or is it just me?

  • @dementialies ya it does now that i realize

  • @dementialies oh my.. i just noticed that even though when the levee breaks is one of my favourite zeppelin songs. very observational jimmy

  • @dementialies Dan Auerbach says he never listened to Zeppelin. I don't entirely believe him. He has a great sense of humor, as demonstrated in video after video... It's hard to tell when he's being serious or not. Personally, I hear Jimmy Page in his rhythm playing. Hendrix, too (who he also says he doesn't listen to). But, then, great blues guitar always hits that "fuck yeah!" button in me... and I don't care too much about his influences. He makes plenty of great stuff on his own.

  • I feel as if The Black Keys are the best band of today.

  • @SubliminalWars Without some blues in it's veins, music is lifeless...the songs that made LZ were blues covers, mostly Willie Dixons...the Animals..the Stones....the Doors and on and on all leaned heavily on blues covers. On a sidenote, whereas this movie was mediocre, I suspect it must be one of Sam Jackson's favorite to make ;).

  • прикольная тема )))

  • 1:16 Sam Jackson is watching you Masturbate.

  • @SubliminalWars there is no "was" when it come to the blues.

  • Haha... The black keys a nd a smoking hot chick... What could be better?

  • WTF is a dislike button even doing here?

  • People say "Where have The Black Keys been all my life?" I say Listen to the roots of blues!! Black keys are a new age addeptation of the origional!! Still awesome but you can beat the roots. R.L. Burnside is one of the greatest EVER!!!!

  • and just so everyone knows, blues aint dead. head on down to potts camp, mississippi for the north mississippi hill country picnic this summer. you'll see the best of todays blues, alive and as real as any before.

  • he had that white bitch on a chain. like.

  • @mpzreb17 I had your ancestors in chains. :)

  • Is it just me or does this sound seductive and sexy in its own little way ? I like it!

  • @SubliminalWars that sucks. i meant to thumbs up for ya and the page refreshed at the same time and moved the cursor. i agree with ya tho.

  • I almost had sex to this song. Almost.

  • @CMloveify YOU BLEW IT MAN YOU BLEW IT haha just fucking around man

  • KornDisturbedLedZepp - NO, I LOVE THE BLACK KEYS. But then again, I think we all do.

  • i was watching the trailer and thought "this is a nice song in the background." i looked it up, and OF COURSE it's by the black keys. they're the best (:

  • just really started listening to the black keys, ive been missing out for sure

  • How come on every music video i like on you tube has comments about bieber or lady gaga? if you hate these two clowns then why even comment on them? personally l have absolutely no opinion on bieber or gaga, because i dont listen to pop music. if you are wondering why those two are bigger stars then the black keys then you must realize that the keys are musicians and not "stars".

  • Heron made me comment

  • Comment below lolololololol I love you heron

  • everythings hotter down south

  • Blues started it all. Without Son House, Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Howlin' Wolf or any other Blues Man there wouldnt be rock n' roll.

  • @greenmonsterpuppies

    Don't Forget Robert Johnson

  • @greenmonsterpuppies so true so true trouble is no one today hears the real stuff so can't learn to play right. You just gotta keep the faith & teach them when you can

  • @greenmonsterpuppies

And without blues, there woudn't be genres like hip hop, pop, rock, metal, or any other today.

Cause the only three types of music developing paralel in the begining of 19th century were blues, jazz and classical. And blues gave birth to alomost every genre of modern music. And that's a fact!

  • @mags031f hells yeah!

  • @mags031f right on!!

  • @mags031f im not sure that's entirely accurate...Europeans brought more than "classical" music across the pond. Europe has a range of its own folk music that is still heard in modern rock/pop just as much as the blues. and personally, I hear these influences more than the blues in songs like paint it black and stairway to heaven..the stones and others like to romanticize their love affair with the blues, but I think they ignore their own roots a little bit when they talk about this.

  • @mags031f thats right but it all stated with classical :)

  • @mags031f No doubt what you say is true - but- additionally - Jazz and blues had some of the same roots and they continue to greatly influence one another. Also - traditional white music that morphs into country had its hand in the birth of rock and though not as much as blues And blues gave many good ideas to early folk and country

  • @greenmonsterpuppies dont forget Bessie Smith! it wasnt just males

  • What is it I have to do, exactly, to sleep with Christina Ricci? I'm prepared to give it a try. And yeah, that's song's pretty smokin, too.

  • @JG27Pyth play this song.

  • i am from turkey and blues is not from culture but i love it very much.and now when i look at the american music today they never get the place where blues is.this is a real music that make people fell they are alive.

    this is tooo good .

  • damn this song is good.

  • was this song in the movie

    ?

  • I aspire to be Christina Ricci's panties.

  • @Chuckjagermeister It's good to have an interest.

  • Juke joint shit right there! Love it!

  • love, love, LOVE(!!!!) this...makes me wanna do all kinds of things...dance (which I can't!) shimmy n shake n...can't even go there!!!love this song.....(!)....

  • I watched an interview in which Christina Ricci said she prepared for this role by eating twinkies and junk food, because that's what her character would've eaten. Big lie, girl. Just be honest, you only smoked :P

  • no skid marks on the panties!

  • Soul of Blues now no color... only blue!

  • Its crazy that she was the little girl in The Addams Family.

  • At 2:20 What an amazing shot of Ricci

  • i wonder how many babies this song is responsible for

  • I am in love with ricci since this movie :)

  • the black keys are probably the best blues artists STILL alive

  • @temniot - Hear, hear!!

  • @temniot - Hear, hear!! I agree wholeheartedly.

  • @temniot They are very good but Jack White is the best blues artist still alive. And he probably will be until he dies.

  • @zachwasson2001 Im appauled you would say that. Jack White wouldnt be shit without the originals. Muddy Waters, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Howlin Wolf and Little Walter. THE BEST BLUES ARTIST OF TODAY IS DAN AUERBACH.

  • @greenmonsterpuppies Yeah, but look at how much he appreciates the classic stuff like Muddy Waters, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Howlin Wolf, and Little Walter. There really isn't a right or wrong answer to who each of us think is the best. Blues is all about playing with feeling, letting your heart do the playing. So, therefore everyone plays differently which means no one artist is better than any other artist.

  • @zachwasson2001 My god, man. Im sorry for letting my petty preferences offend that which is The Blues.

  • @greenmonsterpuppies Who said you offended anyone or anything? I check out that Dan Auerbach guy, and I must say I like him pretty well. You have good taste fine sir.

  • @zachwasson2001 As do you, good man!

  • I love the black keys rubber factory is a great album

  • i know girls like her, never thought of things from there point of view.

  • Crappy silly movie.

  • yeah an shit man, woah ,love the song and movie yeah, all u ppl who argue on youtube are gay haha go fuk a massive dildo lolz, horse come is on your face like right now. much dick is in yo ass. peace :)

  • !st off,I'm no peasant. & yes, blues comes from feelings,emotions,etc...I already knew that. But some of those songs in the movie where modern interpretations of very old songs. That's all I said. I wasn't out to insult people...unlike yourself. I meant no insult to a given players' abilities.

  • HOLY FUCK

I knew this was the black keys when i heard it in the trailer

This is my favorite black keys when they get bluesy

  • This is basically a modern blues interpretation of old southern blues songs. Great stuff. Give a listen to the original "Black Snake Moan" by Blind Lemon Jefferson here on youtube for the original song in the Piedmont style he played in. Blind Lemon was always terrified of a black snake gettin in his room, cause he not only couldn't see it,but couldn't here it,since snakes slitherin don't make no sound...

  • @unionrdr hey peon its called the blues-no speech or thought, its from yer gut blues
