I love this video. I am 26 years old and I was born with cleft lip and pallett and I am still going through the facial surgery proccess and I have been through alot of ridicule about what I look like and it has gotten me to feel the face surgeries where a must and I got through one where they used a RED devive to bring my top jaw. I am sure children's hospital boston must have seen this procedure and I still have more to go so that I can feel comfortable and I agree. I love your video.
These are the people I want to work with and the hospital I want to work at. As an RN, I'm still afraid of being discriminated against when I apply for work.
Don't ever give up - and don't believe everything that you hear or see. It may not always seem like life is worth it, but it is. And tomorrow might not always be better than today, or yesterday, but, if you always strive to better yourself and others, if you strive for a better tomorrow, then you will reach a place in your life where you realize that your life *is* better than those dark days of your past.
Thank you so much for this video!! I wish I had seen something like this growing up because it is so true..life has it's ups and downs, but IT GETS BETTER! We are all here for a reason and surely aren't here to suffer, so let's keep looking up..if you're feeling down about yourself..it gets better:-)
thanks to all the people that did this video... i wish i would have seen this when i was young.. maybe i wouldn't have as many scars as i do now...it does get better.. i know that now... love yourself... be strong.... and hang in there.... your not alone..
being different is what makes you you don't change who you are i tried to but it was not a safe thing for me to do so do not change who you are and it dose get better day by day breath by breath it gets better. we all need to be there to support people if you don't believe in being gay please don't hate people who are that is what makes it harder for us that are gay like i said don't try and be something your not be who god/ who ever you believe in made you to be there is a reason you are here.
The most problem people also have is how gays are different then straights. Being different is special and others don't know how well they can express it. I'm gay as well In Southern California, it gets tough on our sexuality. Religion is pushing the hatred towards what we are, and to me Under no religion just a belief, i tend to be the only gay person near the Los Angeles area to have a strong heart and mind on my sexuality and would put my foot down and saying "it definitely does get better."
The biggest problem is people having the wrong idea of the gay lifesyle and being gay is not a lifestyle: it means the choices made to live like that. Bullying at school is a big problem because I'm gay and I get called out at school but I do work hard at school and put a name for myself but only because I was depressed and now ever since I came out I"m the happies person and so are my family; some kids think that being gay is bad but in reality it's not. Life will get better! <33

THANK YOU for taking the time to make this video for those who unfortunately haven't yet found the strength to be the amazing person they can be!
