argh! im pissed off, i played this game a couple of months ago and finally got to act 3 (i spent a long time doing act 2 and that worm dude was really hard for me). I stormed act 3 and the rest of act 4 untill i got to diablo, i gave up fighting him as it took too long. And i never played it since. Im now going to have to work out how to play with my necro again :( and then fight diablo :((

it´s all about to put the right skills. but it´s hard for a necro becuse he have only one skill tre that makes dmg for bosses. summoning is nice but is still usless to kill bosses

i never used a fire golem to kill him though as i wasnt a high enough level..would that help?

strategy, use a golem to distract him, then pummel him with a ranged attack, and when your golem dies, run away, make new golem, and start pummeling him again (with necro), should work well, so far ive only died twice playin this game though im on act 2 :[, so idk, it might not work, we'll find out when i get there lol

lol, the final boss in act 2 is harder than the final boss of act 3 so get ready ;)

o man i know, i just killed him like 15 minutes ago, took me like, half an hour and 50 town portals lol, that strategy is only good for places where you can run around

i've also got a necro. he is now close to lvl 41. the first time i killed Diablo, he must've killed me at least 12 or more times in the process. that time i mainly used fire golem and poison nova. when i killed him earlier today, i used fire golem (as cannon fodder mainly) and amplify damage with my 3 socketed long sword. had to go back to town more than i wanted, but my fire resistance dropped from 75 to 55 when i equipped a different helm with better overall defense. BTW necros avoid skeletons

Killing diablo with necro is hard cos all the skeletons are useless, i Spammed fire golumn myself and used that homing bone spirit.

well it depends on play style but i got diablo to own himself. i dont intend on doing nightmare or hell mode, too long for me. So i cast iron maiden on him and a few portals and spammed clay golem on him and he just completely owned himself.

such a noob, u got it lucky he was running all over, he was like a fly on fly paper with me :(
