  • Jim in the cylender tank episode did you get really angry? when thigs happen you get a look on your fase but you dont really yell or any thing

  • hey K, its not going to do any good to get upset and start yelling is it?

  • cannot believe you lost that legal battle/that guy who used a knife on the cylindrical tank :S

  • Comment removed

  • hey F, sorry, not knowledgeable enough in Discus to answer those questions

  • hey F, not sure what was so special about their product, but after reviewing the video a few times some lady in that booth sent that guy after me.

  • Are you still friends with Mr Pocket Knife Guy??

  • hey S, he was an employee of the homeowner.

  • @lafishguy Bet it wasnt funny at the time. But the look around, sees camera and hand on head.... Classic.. Love the show.... keep the videos coming :)

  • Hey Jim, just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed this long recap episode of how it all started. You are doing such a great job on your videos and as a viewer, you feel real upclose and right in there thru the good and bad. Thumbs up from me.

  • This video is great, shows up what happened to the cylinder tank and thats mainly what I wanted to see, thanks Jim.

  • That's crazy! If someone doesn't pay their bill how is it they get away with it? Even when they're taken to court and a judge hears it? Jim I don't know how you kept so calm, I would of been raging. But it just proves more and more how professional you are, I applaud you.

  • You should have your own show on animal planet!

  • Hey LA awesome videos my man! I cant believe how unfortunate you were with that guy not paying up but atleast you have learned from that and to not give some people room to take advantage of a situation. Keep up the good work for 2012 and the best of luck! love the videos by the way.

  • loved it

  • Great loved every minute of it! You should have a tv show.

  • what do you think about the brittle stars?

  • hey 11, they are OK. some are more aggressive than others.

  • @lafishguy thaks!!i am from costa rica, and i am very fanactic of you, i have a 90 gallons reef tank, and i was think in introduce a brittle star!! congratulations for your amazing chanel!! it are veryproductive for all the audience!!

  • Hey Jim!! It's been a little while since I've left a comment, but I promise I've been waiting for and watching every episode. Just wanted to thank you for all that you've done for us here in U-tube-land, and I want to wish you, Scott and Condie a great new year. Thanks again, and please keep the vids coming.

  • hey LA fishguy i've heard great reviews about reefdynamics new phosphate reactor utilizing NoPo, looks like a more obtainable option to algae control then the algae scrubber..hoping to get my hands on one very soon!

  • hey G, from a cost standpoint Bio Pellets seem to be the lesser expensive option.

  • "Get your Facking hands off my camera!" LMAO..that's awesome Jim!

  • Over 42 min awesome!

  • Hey Jim, what are your experiences with Moorish idols, in terms of their diet, and preferred surroundings? Thanks

  • hey E, very little experience with Moorish Idols. I prefer Heniochus Butterflies.

  • did you go to college to learn and do all this stuff ause i have to admit you are one smart dude

  • hey W, no college, just 30 years of experience, and fun :)

  • What's the best fish to get for eating bristle worms?

  • hey R, i have heard that Scooter Blennies eat bristle worms.

  • Brilliant little video! No commercials too! Best line, "Taking your hands off my f*&king camera"! Nice one Jim!

  • WOW! no advertising throughout a whole video,, impressive!!

  • Hi Jim, have you ever done a heavily planted tank?

  • hey J, no I havent. currently I have no FW accounts.

  • keep up the good work jim, loved your video's

up to the next 100 :-)

    greetings from belgium

  • Great show. Best I've seen on Aquatics. Love the Jelly fish shows so much :)

  • nice jobs, thx

  • LOL! "keep your hands off the fucking camera" ahaha great video like always =]!

  • I hope you fired that guy who scratched the tank. I bet ya he did not even own up.

  • hey P, he was an employee of the home owner.

  • Did your man ever own up to scratching the tank Jim?

  • hey D, he did...two days later.

  • i got a huge problem.. as i read on the internet many says that salinity 1.025 is the best.. and i did it to my tank.. but the LFS salinity is 1.023... i just bought cleaner shrimp and camel shrimp.. acclimate it to about 1 hour.. tomorrow morning.. both of them died.. i assume the water is okay because both of my percula clown seems healthy.. they live in there already 4 month...

  • hey Z, the acceptable range is 1.020 to 1.025. reefs prefer it to the high side, fish-only prefer to the lower side. shrimps can be slow to acclimate, and dont always do. I find dipping water into their bag while temperature acclimating and then allowing them to exit the bag on their own works best for me.

  • @lafishguy do you have any video about acclimating shrimp ?

  • Oh by the way love the video

  • Who's the creep at the convention

  • hey jim quick? i have a 90 gallon tank im setting up and in the future i am hoping to make it a mixed reef tank and im still in the procces of decideing whether i should do a wet dry trickle or a refugium in the future im hoping to have mandarins and didnt knoiw if going with the refugium would help with the copepods or in your opinion does it even matter i have a video of my tank and sump if that would help ur decision thanks for the vids theyv really helped me be able to start in the hobby

  • hey T, you can produce more copepods in a refugium that you will in a trickle filter.

  • Do you still have the episode when Aquarium City stole your pump for the jelly tank?

  • hey S, i think you may have that story wrong. it was another shop...that has now gone out of business, and no I never got the pump back.

  • I wish you talked about fresh water tanks and fish!!

  • Thumbs Up for a great video!

  • Wow Jim that cylinder tank has been to hell and back. and what a crappy attorney they take advantage of their title. Keep up the good vids Jim.

BTW what are your plan to keep the battle of algae in the cylinder tank?

  • hey L, wait and see, there is a new episode coming on the cylinder tank.

  • Jim in the shower made me lol.

Shame you weren't on Judge Judy. Now that would have been amusing.

  • Great vid Jim, thanks!

  • All those dead, coral skeletons make me sad. :(

  • Merry Christmas Jim!

Great vid showing us aspects of running your business and a lot of fun retrospects to earlier shows.

I have to ask, did you at least get your stuff back from the attorney jerk (I’m thinking of the live stock mostly)?

Also did you get reimbursed for all the extra time, blood, sweat and tears that went into changing the initial cylindrical tank?

What was the guy in the tradeshows problem? People usually take pictures at tradeshows or didn’t he know?

    Keep up the good work!

  • hey G, I got nothing from the attorney, but did learn when to cut customers off. the re-do of the cylinder tank labor was at my expense and learned that bigger and more expensive is not always better. the guy at the tradeshow was just a bonehead, he did not know why as he was just pointed out to me by a lady in the booth. never did figure out what they were offering...or why it was so top secret?

  • Do you use micro fiber cloth for cleaning tanks or do you use cotton?

  • hey F, they are the 'acrylic' cleaning pads available from Aquarium Pharm ( AP ). the hand pads for small or tight areas and the pad-on-stick version for big or deep tanks.

  • Hey Jim this felt like I was watching a movie... So much obstacle u had to endure and you are still fighting the gud fight.... Continue standing up for your rights and have a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year

  • Keep making the videos Jim! You inspired me to make the move from freshwater to saltwater! Almost every video I watch teaches me something new.

  • Great video, I loved it. especially that douche with the knife. These are the videos i love the problems and the full picture. Cant believe what a ball ache you had with that cylinder tank merry xmas Jimbo and keep it up.

  • Hey Jim, Great video!!! You are often so patient and diplomatic during your experiences with customers, I was glad to see you stand up for yourself when that guy tried to grab your camera at the convention. Thanks for all your effort!

  • Thumbs up from me. Merry Christmas and keep those videos coming :)

  • hey N, thanks :)

  • Sweet! thanks for the past shows, keep up the great work Jim

  • I hear ya...it felt like I was going thru that situation (reminded me of some past tanks/situations I had that were similar stress)

  • What a depressing clip with the acrylic damage/scratch, guy not paying u, etc...

  • hey S, its actually the most remembered video from the original 35 shows.

  • Like always i cant wait for new episodes.Your the first sub on youtube i had regarding to my saltwater intrest and you helped me alot thx Jim.
