It's kinda north central NM. If you draw a line between Santa Fe and Las Vegas, NM and then make a triangle pointing down, you should find it. There is a town named Pecos which is right there. This part of the Pecos is trout fishing. The Pecos becomes warm water fishing as it continues south through the eastern half of NM and goes through Santa Rosa, Roswell, and Carlsbad, and into Texas.
