i am glad that she did not take a bottle but i had to do a pacifer and bottles and formual because my son was a premie and they would not relase him till he took a bottle and pacifer. but agian congrad. i was breast feeding but he would not take the boob after we got home

Congrats on ur baby girl she is beautiful.....I have a qq, My little girl didnt take her pacifier until a couple weeks after she was born and since u said that ur not gna do pacifiers do u think its easier to take a baby off a pacifier than from sucking their thumb...like with a pacifier u can just ease them off but sometime it takes a while for a child to stop with the thumb sucking so I just want to know what u think about it and whats gna be ur method...and by the way u look great....

Ooh, I also lost all my baby weight a week and a half after my first two kids..my aunt hated me for it..I loved walking around in my old pre-pregnancy jeans and tank-tops. Everywhere I went people would compliment me on how amazing my abdomen looked for having a 2 week old baby..my doctor was amazed. But I danced alot too, but all by myself in my room..no one saw me do it. LOL
not trying to scare you, but all 3 of my children were amazing "easy babies", it's when they started going through their growth spurts, at 3 moths, 6 months, and even now at 7 years old, 3 years old and 2 years old...they can be pretty wild. Maybe you'll be lucky but I have two girls and they were the easiest babies every, they make me want to pull my hair out now...LOL

Well Im 5 months right now and let me tell you My breast r HUGG.. like i went bra shopping when i was 31/2 months. I know somebody who is like 7 months and hasnt went bra shopping yet but i usta wear a 36C now im like 38DDD..yes TRIPPLE..no lie at 142 lbs now...i dont think ill gain alot because im very small, but sleeping at nights for me or the worse...i cant wait till shes out lol
of course she eats a lot! lol. when my baby brother went on baby food my step mom was having such a hard time because her boobs hurt so much. but now my little brother only nurses at night and in the mornings. and like i said before i'm so glad he does not do pacifiers! we tried giving it to him but he spits it out.
llilia reminds me sooooo much of my baby holland! she never cries and she sucks on her fist when es hungry too! yay for our well behaved babies!!! hahaha you look great love! cant believe our pregnancy journeys are over! On to mommyhood :)

isnt it awesome how fast u lose weight? i gained almost 50 lbs and by 2 weeks pp i had lost 32 lbs. im pretty sure it was mostly water weight because i was SOOO swollen and puffy. i looked like a marshmellow ;( i still have 15 to lose though.. i think now i actually have to DO something to lose it haha! you look great girl!

@adoinia2004 Yes I am. She went to the doctor's today and she's already gained a pound and a half! So crazy. Make sure you're drinking enough water! It can make all the difference.
Jess, I'm so glad you're not giving her the pacifier! Keep it as natural as possible, she can sooth herself as she does already. None of my boys had pacifiers nor bottle. They went from breast to sippy cups. You are doing great!

Hi! FYI: Pacifiiers supposedly reduce the risk of sids. Also, you should think about introducing her to the bottle after 2 weeks, because apparently if you wait too long there is a good chance she will give you a really difficult time with the bottle. I read it in the book "Eat, Sleep, and Poo" which is written by Dr. Scott Cohen. Check it out!

you are right about being active before pregnancy helps. its making a huge difference now with my second pregnancy! I hope it holds true for me after birth too lol
you look fab, you will be back to yourself so soon. look up the belly bandit and belly binding, it helped me shrink 10x faster then a friend who had the baby the same time. kourtney kardashian also used it and recomeded it.
@dgmkerry444 babies eat the colostrum from the breast before their milk comes in, plus their stomachs are only the size of a chick pea and they don't need to eat much.
i wish i had of known about that water thing lol. i had a few sips of water when i was in labor but i didnt want to have to many cause i didnt want to pee myself lol. my daughter is nearly 3 months old and everynight i sleep with a bottle of water and 2 in te morning i have to get up and re fill it.
Oh and you're doing the right thing not introducing a paci and waiting 6 weeks for the bottle! Your milk supply is still getting established until then and anything unnatural could stop it from increasing normally, especially crucial during growth spurts where she will be on the boob ALL day, no joke lol. You need a strong milk supply especially since you are going back to school and will pump! BF exclusively as long as you can! :) You're doing so great.
@AmyLizz I gave my son the pacifier right away and it was a lifesaver, then I took it away after hearing this and gave it to him again after 3 weeks and he didn't take it!! I think it depends on how the breastfeeding is going. I see so many babies with pacifiers from the beginning and they are breastfeeding just fine. I think it depends on the baby and if the mother really needs it to use it! its not worth going crazy with a screaming baby who loves the pacifier. thats just my opinion..
She is SO beautiful, just look at that face <3 I honestly see 50% you, 50% Gabe at this point :) I totally agree about the Boppy, I still use it every day at 10 months! Money well spent. I say it everytime, but you're an amazing mom!!!
I was also a former professional modern/jazz dancer before my two pregnancies. You do lose the muscle tone and definition with pregnancy. After my first born, I bounced back to my prepregnancy weight so fast. But with the second one I gained an extra 9 pounds that I am trying to lose. I am not dieting because I am breastfeeding my 6 month old. I am just exercising to build stamina and muscle. My doctor said it was okay just to wear a supportive bra. You look fabulous!
Perhaps you should think about at least introducing her to the bottle at 2 weeks old. I've read that she may get so spoiled with the real thing that she will refuse to use the bottle if you wait to introduce her too long. I read it in the book "Eat, Sleep, Poop." Good luck!
careful with the hand sucking though jess, paci's are difficult but just remember when they are 18 months you can take the paci, you can't take their thumb or fist. and this kid at the daycare i work at sucked her 2 fingers till she was like almost 2, to the point of sores on her fingers from them always being in her mouth, and my friend sucked her thumb till she was 8 and had so many teeth issues, just sharing experience, hopefully all will go well for you.
I was completly against using a pacifier & everytime some-one would attempt giving her one i would yell at them! It was good but because she wouldnt take it. Eventually overtime she would take one & even tho i was so against them when she was newborn, you'll find overtime..especially with nursing that they give you a much needed break. But by all means go aslong as you can without one :)

you look excellent for just having a baby! your belly is so small! it usually takes about 4 weeks for your uterus to shrink all the way back, you'll be back to normal in no time
i totally agree with no formula and no binki because my little brother who's now 8 months doesn't at all use a binki and its nice because he doesn't have the redness. and with formula its just to expensive. my step mom bought a can like two months ago and its still over half way. and when she gets older and has Hiccups give her water. also you can tell your boobs got bigger.
SO glad you are making these videos. I am 19.5 weeks and want to hear all this stuff. Thank you so much! You look and sound great and it gives me optimism. So much fear mongering from lots of people and this is nice to hear positive experiences.

the breastfeeding is why you are losing the weight so fast- im not tiny- pretty average only gained 27lbs and i lost most of the weight- was 7lbs away when lily was 2weeks old- only downside for me is i still eat like im preggers b.c i breastfeed- LOL so i still heed to lose the 7lbs!! =) She is so cute tho!! im so happy for you and glad to hear yall are doing well!! <3
@Rosiblush I did all kinds of dance: tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, etc. And the stretchmarks are slowly fading, yay! I hope I can go back to dance and still be okay at it! =)
wow no pacifer wow. my son pacifers were a life saver for me. you are lucky you only gained 25lbs i gained 42lbs when i was pregnant when i had my son. my milk came in the day after i had him.

isnt it awesome how fast u lose weight? i gained almost 50 lbs and by 2 weeks pp i had lost 32 lbs. im pretty sure it was mostly water weight because i was SOOO swollen and puffy. i looked like a marshmellow ;( i still have 15 to lose though.. i think now i actually have to DO something to lose it haha! you look great girl!

@adoinia2004 Yes I am. She went to the doctor's today and she's already gained a pound and a half! So crazy. Make sure you're drinking enough water! It can make all the difference.

Jess, I'm so glad you're not giving her the pacifier! Keep it as natural as possible, she can sooth herself as she does already. None of my boys had pacifiers nor bottle. They went from breast to sippy cups. You are doing great!

Hi! FYI: Pacifiiers supposedly reduce the risk of sids. Also, you should think about introducing her to the bottle after 2 weeks, because apparently if you wait too long there is a good chance she will give you a really difficult time with the bottle. I read it in the book "Eat, Sleep, and Poo" which is written by Dr. Scott Cohen. Check it out!

you are right about being active before pregnancy helps. its making a huge difference now with my second pregnancy! I hope it holds true for me after birth too lol
you look fab, you will be back to yourself so soon. look up the belly bandit and belly binding, it helped me shrink 10x faster then a friend who had the baby the same time. kourtney kardashian also used it and recomeded it.

i wish i had of known about that water thing lol. i had a few sips of water when i was in labor but i didnt want to have to many cause i didnt want to pee myself lol. my daughter is nearly 3 months old and everynight i sleep with a bottle of water and 2 in te morning i have to get up and re fill it.

Oh and you're doing the right thing not introducing a paci and waiting 6 weeks for the bottle! Your milk supply is still getting established until then and anything unnatural could stop it from increasing normally, especially crucial during growth spurts where she will be on the boob ALL day, no joke lol. You need a strong milk supply especially since you are going back to school and will pump! BF exclusively as long as you can! :) You're doing so great.

@AmyLizz I gave my son the pacifier right away and it was a lifesaver, then I took it away after hearing this and gave it to him again after 3 weeks and he didn't take it!! I think it depends on how the breastfeeding is going. I see so many babies with pacifiers from the beginning and they are breastfeeding just fine. I think it depends on the baby and if the mother really needs it to use it! its not worth going crazy with a screaming baby who loves the pacifier. thats just my opinion..

I was also a former professional modern/jazz dancer before my two pregnancies. You do lose the muscle tone and definition with pregnancy. After my first born, I bounced back to my prepregnancy weight so fast. But with the second one I gained an extra 9 pounds that I am trying to lose. I am not dieting because I am breastfeeding my 6 month old. I am just exercising to build stamina and muscle. My doctor said it was okay just to wear a supportive bra. You look fabulous!

Perhaps you should think about at least introducing her to the bottle at 2 weeks old. I've read that she may get so spoiled with the real thing that she will refuse to use the bottle if you wait to introduce her too long. I read it in the book "Eat, Sleep, Poop." Good luck!

careful with the hand sucking though jess, paci's are difficult but just remember when they are 18 months you can take the paci, you can't take their thumb or fist. and this kid at the daycare i work at sucked her 2 fingers till she was like almost 2, to the point of sores on her fingers from them always being in her mouth, and my friend sucked her thumb till she was 8 and had so many teeth issues, just sharing experience, hopefully all will go well for you.

I was completly against using a pacifier & everytime some-one would attempt giving her one i would yell at them! It was good but because she wouldnt take it. Eventually overtime she would take one & even tho i was so against them when she was newborn, you'll find overtime..especially with nursing that they give you a much needed break. But by all means go aslong as you can without one :)

i totally agree with no formula and no binki because my little brother who's now 8 months doesn't at all use a binki and its nice because he doesn't have the redness. and with formula its just to expensive. my step mom bought a can like two months ago and its still over half way. and when she gets older and has Hiccups give her water. also you can tell your boobs got bigger.

the breastfeeding is why you are losing the weight so fast- im not tiny- pretty average only gained 27lbs and i lost most of the weight- was 7lbs away when lily was 2weeks old- only downside for me is i still eat like im preggers b.c i breastfeed- LOL so i still heed to lose the 7lbs!! =) She is so cute tho!! im so happy for you and glad to hear yall are doing well!! <3

wow no pacifer wow. my son pacifers were a life saver for me. you are lucky you only gained 25lbs i gained 42lbs when i was pregnant when i had my son. my milk came in the day after i had him.

It's amazing how fast the belly goes down! My belly was back to being flat around 4 weeks so it will definately go down more. You look fantastic for a week after giving birth. GO MAMA!
