In comparison to the intellect that's leaving the White House, what's going in is positively encylopoedic.

Obama led a campaign that gave him a landslide victory. The outstanding quality required to have accomplished this remarkable feat is called Leadership. The man is also intelligent, articulate and respected. 

It is Leadership combined with those qualities that prevails, not gubernatorial experience, when one is surrounded by a small army of advisors.

I can tell you from personal experience that it's easier to get elected than to actually do the job. I honestly believe Obama is in so far over his head, it's not even funny. There's no denying he's an intelligent man, but that does not necessarily translate into being a good President. If he governs from the left, things will collapse. If he's smart, he'll govern from the center. But he has NO history of doing so. He's a flaming liberal.

Who in the hell mentioned Bush? Get over Bush. He's history. I know Obama ran entirely against Bush, but that is really getting old. The Democrats have controlled Congress, both houses, for two years. Are things better now than two years ago? Now they control everything. The blame Bush bullshit won't work for much longer.

By the way, Bush was a great Governor of Texas. I know, I live there. He was probably the best Governor in modern history. However, Bush is an example of "the peter principle" in government. That is someone rises to their level of incompetence. He should have stopped at Texas Governor. But after 4 years of Obama, I'll bet Bush looks like Abraham Lincoln.
