This is less of a "have your say", more of a "get Richard Dawkins on the show, then get as many angry theists as we can to email, phone and video link questions at him until he slips up, or ends up punching someone" lol. seems a bit unfair, but i'm very sure Richard can handle himself ;3
He always pronounces Ba'al like "bail" instead of "ball" I suppose it sounds more like a deity if it doesn't sound like you could precede it with bocce.
I've watched a lot of Dawkins' debates now and the one thing that bothers me is the repetitiveness of his cleverly evasive answers. He seems to have formulated his answers in such a way as to lead the discussion round and round in circles. He says that from a scientific viewpoint there almost certainly isn't a God (i.e. creator),
but when asked to explain why, he replies that which God should he believe in and should he also believe in fairies. He then says that well there's no proof that God does exist, to which he is asked if there is proof that God doesn't & round we go again. He never actually explains why he is so certain there is no creator. Please Mr. Dawkins, leave Thor & fairies out of it and stick to your scientific ability to show the unlikelihood of a creator. As an agnostic, I am genuinely interested.

Religious theories should state what they mean develop the ideas because many of the theories they believe in they claim they don't know a lot about it, they don't know who or what god is but they believe in it despite not understanding what they believe in.
So the point is that when theists come up with an idea they should develop their theory otherwise the theory contains different possibilities on different points and so can cheat by shifting possibilities when the idea is debated with.

I don't see why theists think that by saying they were an atheist once, they give credence to their position. I was a theist. I was then a spiritualist ghost believer and now I am an atheist. It doesn't add credence to my position if I was once a theist and super naturalist.

Richard Dawkins is an excellent teacher! Unfortunately religion is but one problem. Richard among others is doing a great job in swapping misinformation and fear with knowledge. Another man doing a great job is Jack Fresco, he talks about a great many of important topics.

The irony is that Prof Dawkins has the patience of a saint!. It is clear that some people of religious faith have been so indoctrinated since birth they do not even realise that atheism is an option. The christian guy from Poland was a perfect example - I will bet that his African heritage ensured he was inculcated in christian faith and would have not known that he could opt out. For muslims apostasy is certainly not an option or death ensues as we often see.

@crispy380 The first caller rambled on, but formulated his questions relatively well on his own. The next two were not very proficient in English, so the host helped them out, tried to extract what they were asking. His job, really. Not knowing English very well isn't "stupid", otherwise you would be stupid for not knowing (picking random language) Mandarin. They are calling in to an English speaking show, and do their best to speak English.
Also, it's "THEIR comments and questions".

What escapes most religious people I think is that geography has determined which bunch of illusions they will believe. Geography, parent, family etc. at least in 95% of the time.
