No. This is no different than anything Soundgarden ever made. Not as good. Whatever label you want to put on it, it is grunge. post punk or post metal? whatever. It is a fusion of both and rock. Not so much punk. This is just a modern hairband stuck in the 90`s trying to woo today`s adolescents. The Davies name is just networking. I do expect some sucess. However, this is not all that good. Individually, they all play well and have great talent. As a band, it doesn`t work.
