nice! this one actually looks pretty good, considering you used the Video Copilot plugin/preset thing haha...if you wanna do it so that the white solid (the core) doesnt look like a baseball bat, like, even when its not fanning, just use white solids with masks, then duplicate and feather, or use gaussian blur (either way, you have to feather each duplicate a bit more than the previous...then pre-comp and color correct with color balance..i made a tutorial on it..feel free to check it out =]

@acmilancrazy Thats right! Only I'm trying to make the saber blade move as fast as seen in the movie. I guess its not complete without CS5 and thats my biggest aim right now since copilot has upgraded the lightsaber blade but it can only work for CS5.

@BaekHoProductions I remember checking out on ur video and some strokes are a little off. My advice to you is to realign em every fraction of a sec so that the blade would match up to every stroke u make. Hope it helps!

@pouttuty14 I made the solid background and mask it into a triangle shape wide and then I used the trapcode shine to make it glow. There are many ways to do a clash. I preferred my own way. Hope it helps!

I made the red blade on after effect to hit me instead of someone else until I find an opponent during the summer. This is sort of like a teaser of things to come.
