Jiri had a seizure related to a heart problem he had. He is alive and well but unfortunately can't play. Which is such a shame when you see things like this. But Jiri Fischer is not dead.

It was in the 2003/04 Season (in Oktobre i think) the Wings won this 3:2 Yzerman or Whitney scoret the Game Winner a few secinds befor the Game came to an end.
I think Daniel had notihng serious, in the clip you can see taht he is sitting on the bench after the hit.

thats not supposed to happen, that glass is supposed to shatter completely into tiny pieces so no one gets cut.

It's because it's plexi glass, it was introduced last year i think, they usually used fibre glass, which is basicly like normal glass but harder to break, the plexi glass is like plastic and it actualy should of broken into little peices, but since he got hit on that angle and right onto the bars that hold the glass, that happened.
