That Christianity existed on the African continent centuries before slavery has no bearing on the point I was making. The Africans slaves in America came from western Africa, which is nowhere near Egypt or Ethiopia. The slaves weren't Christian until their white owners beat the faith into them.

My point is about (the existence of Christians in Africa )....it was not an argument about slavery....besides that fact take into consideration that African slave trade also occurred in other areas of Africa including but not limited to East Africa....Don't forget slavery was wide-spread even in the Arab world as well....and still exists today in many forms...so the question should be ...what are we doing to stop it today????
