  • what's with the subtitles?

  • He still sounds good.

  • he looks better without a beard.

  • Does anyone know who was playing in the show for that episode. Other than PJ Harvey of course. I'm just curious to know what bands he watched???

  • in about every interview with these two alison never has much to say.

    robert does all the talking

  • Robert Plant seems godlike to me. The whole band does.

  • lol i know robert rlly well my dad grew up with him hes a good guy...

  • I have their album, Raising Sand. AMAZING album, AMAZING together, AMAZING song! Every song on that album is like.. wow. Buy it! Or download. =)

  • Surely a Zep comeback would make the 100's of millions, wouldnt that be more of a sellout than making a humble bluegrass album?

  • i think that...robert made this album in part cause he was like paying tibute to his heroes...a thing that zep always did but those fucking square metalheads never understood about them

  • am i the only 1 who is amazed by robert plants voice ?

  • Sell out HA.... When Coverdale re-recorded Here I go again in a pop metal style. He was selling to get more money / fame

    THat how it goes sell out are those who change their direction for self serving reasons at the cost of the music / integrity....

    This is evolution not selling out.. Kinda de-evolution really

  • I hope when I'm sixty-something I don't have 20 some million people insisting I get on stage and pretend I'm 22.

  • LOL funniest comment yet on the clamoring of the obsessed!

  • why would he or you have to pretend to be 22? u fuck!!!!

  • @LeathanL Plant handles aging graciously.

  • @LeathanL Neither do I . . . I want FORTY some million people appreciating my efforts and wanting me to tour.

  • Plant is selling out? That's got to be a remark from a kid....well here's the news kid; Plant and all his contemporaries listened to Country/Soul/Blues /Rock n Roll and R&B religiously in their youth....he's expressing that now.

    ~~~
    At least one individual here appears to be almost apoplectic about this film clip, might I suggest watching something else if it causes you so much distress.
  • Great album - great singers - and lots of people here cannot accept change - Plant is 60 years old and is singing what he wants to sing regardless of those who want him to wail like a 19 year old again.
  • absolutely!
    and that's his privilege!
  • how the fuck is he a sellout, look, i'm one of the BIGGEST led zeppelin fans, but if he's happy doing what he's doing, then i'm happy
  • haha did i ever state that him being happy doing what he wants doesn't make him a sellout? explain that to me, no i didn't, i simply asked you a question? how is he a sellout? dude, it's his life, let him do what he wants with it, he obviously loves being a singer, this is his new thing
  • now if olny everyone can stop likeing pop rap and emo crap and get into the muisc that was good back in the day classic rock is where its at
  • I cant believe people are arguing about the joining of this pair, when it obviously works and ROBERT PLANT himself, the lead singer of Led Zep thinks its great, and it is!
  • It's amazing how criitical people are of this album, this is a brilliant compilation from two brilliant artists. Alison Krauss could sing with anyone in any genre of music. For example, Brad Paisley, James Taylor, John Waite, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, and of course Robert Plant. Plant should be honored to be associated with Alison and T-Bone. Not to discount Plant, I realize in his day Led Zep was great; but that was thirty years ago.
  • Good comments. Many people in rock and roll have a lot of respect and listen to bluegrass and/or country music. I remember hearing Mick Jagger saying 2 of his favorite country singers were Johnny Cash and Hank Snow and that he plays their records at home. These 2 teaming up for a project was no surprise to me. They're both very talented, and their respect for each other is obvious.  I look forward to their next cross-pollination.
  • Being from the south I've been familiar with Alison Krauss work for a long time and it just bugs me now to see Led Zeppelin hardcores post irrelevant comments. Just to clear things out Alison Krauss is a better singer than Sandy Denny a better fiddle player than Jimmy Page is a guitar player since Eric Clapton and Hendrix were better guitar players than him. Alison Krauss on the other hand has no competitors, she not only revived bluegrass but apparently Robert Plant's career.
  • Jeez, you're a bitter little man aren't you ?
  • Do you know what a fuckwit is?
  • Stick to watching biblical videos and quit giving poorly thought out, retarded, backward thinking comments. Try to contribute constructive and positive comments. It makes you look inferior to your potential as a human being.
  • If you have a valid point then make it but if all you can do is name call then keep it to yourself.
  • I did no name calling to anyone on this site, so get back to typing your redundant drabness and direct your foolishness elsewhere.
  • No people aren't worried that Led Zeppelin will take him away from his collaboration with Alison, people are worrie THAT will take him away from Led Zeppelin.
  • He's been away for 30+ years ;)
  • I'm sorry but, lotuspods - the man has a right to perform with whoever he wants, and in all fairness his work with alison krauss is amazing
  • Hell Yeah!!
  • Interesting upload-thanks!
  • it really is
