  • It is really an incredible gymnast!

  • And the battle between Kexin, Tweddle, and Yilin continues! Bars final will surely be great again! GO BETH!

  • I want to see a 16.000 or higher again on bars :( Beth's s.v. in Beijing was 7.8, and now 6.7 :S? I know about the code of points but I personally think they should bring back the 10 moves instead of 8 :(

  • With this routine I think she will be the 2009 UB World Champion...

  • I agree. It's the one to beat.

  • agreed!!

  • What is vejerked? Sorry, my english isn't very good...

  • (Bare with me, it gets relevant after the fine sentence :P)

I am glad that Nastia Liukin won the AA at Beijing, as it meant that when the system made its changes, they changed for the better.

Hopefully it will bring back some of the "good" in the AG, rather than having it all about power. Power is great, but the "real goods" are the artistry.

As for this routine: Lovely and very well done I think after having had surgery on her shoulders late last year :)

    Look forward to everyone elses!

  • WOW O-O

  • People always go on about Beth's bad form in her piroutting skills and I agree but it frustrates me to see an exciting release-filled routine like this compared to the endless Chinese offerings of Bi and Ono skills and the obligatory flat Tkatchev that stalls at the bottom of the swing but never seems to get noticed by judges or commentators. I know which routine I'd like to watch most....

  • you said it

  • @Ahashots1 I completely agree with you! I'd rather see good swing, flow, and exciting releases than poor kips and transitions.

  • Its better then her Olympic routine i think she always manages to push the imagination one step further this is what the new code is all about KEEP IT UP BETH YOUR ARE THE BEST X

  • simply love her!!!!

  • sweetest routine I've seen a long time

  • All excitement!

  • This routine always spells the word *fucking crazy* when i see it. She may be all over the place but hell that's a damn difficult routine.

  • Fantastic..!!!

  • How much did she score?

She was short on handstands and almost lost it in the low bar... I really hope she improves that before Europeans I really want her to medal...

    Thanks for uploading!!!

  • I think the new routine is her best yet... I can not wait to see her in action at the Euros and lets hope her floor is back to form... the shap half is a nice supprise

  • Beth's swing is so fierce that I almost don't care about her handstands.

  • Amazing Beth! And how cool is her Van Leeuwen?

  • what is a van leeuwen?

  • It's a toe-on Shaposhnikova-half turn (her transition from low to high bar).

  • How different is this from the Khorkina?

  • The Khorkina is a hip circle into a straddled Spaposhnikova-half twist. The Van Leeuwen is a toe-on Shaposhnikova with a half twist.

  • Now Beth isn't training vault or beam anymore you would think more time would be spent on her handstands...

    Great routine though!

  • Fantastic! Go Beth!!!!!!!!!

  • loving the shap half! great routine :D
