Why does everyone love this one? Maybe it's just because I grew up on PC games and have a little trouble with the controller, but Phalanx frustrates me to no end - I still cannot kill the damn thing. I can never get the horse to go where I want it, and I'm usually not able to jump from the horse onto the dropped wing - I tend to miss and fall on the ground. And then once I get on the stupid thing, it'll close the flaps before I can even get to the second spot, even if I'm going straight to it

I felt bad killing any colossus that was not aggressive. I mean yeah most of them were monsters that would crush you on sight or zap you or whatever.

But some were majestic and passive like whales though, like this one.

@DJBranden you need to play it to understand,it is with out a doubt an example of video games as art.It has a rich story,and this colossus was by far the easiest doing nothing but being able to spin and try to keep you off.Many others are very aggresive and a pain in the ass.All of the colossi are actually feel giant,they experience of killing them is more than any other game could hope to match with bosses.The landscape is vast and fun to explore,that in itself is hours of entertainment.

I just dont see how this game was any good at all... I saw the ending, and its just a giant midle finger to people who went through the game, ending it with a fail? you might call that a twist, but its not, its just them spitting in your face.

As I mounted Agro I rode to the impossibly long sand dragon, it's wings, scraping the sand made Agro seem worried, as I got close to the dragons wing, I jumped off of Agro and grabbed it's wing, as I finally climbed onto the beast, I noticed the 3 open flaps, my legendary sword started to glow, the light pointed under the flap, I finally got the opportunity to slay the beast and get one step closer to saving Mono.

Help anyone... after you beat the game 1st time then beat all colossi in time mode, do you keep playing in that save (going out to find them one by one again) or quit game and enter hard mode at menu? I mean in order to keep going toward beating all four modes? Is there any big ending after you beat all modes? I have beat game first time then beat all 16 in time mode. it doesn't really do anything after beating time mode. Has anyone beat all 4?

You get bonus items for beating the Colossi in Time Attack mode. There is one set of items awarded in normal Time Attack and there is another set of items awarded for beating them in hard Time Attack mode.

Furthermore you can only play in normal Time Attack mode in a normal difficulty game just as you can only play in hard Time Attack mode in a hard difficulty game.

Although to be honest the part that gave me so much trouble was jumping from Agro to it's wing, I kept missing it by one second and so had to start all over again, this was the only colossus that i was happy to finally kill.
