Also, I feel like the reviewer exaggerates the luxury and technology of this car. Many of the technology on the car are available in much cheaper cars. In fact, you can purchase a fully loaded C-Class with all packages and it will come with 80% of the technology in this car for about $40,000.

I've driven this car many times and can guarantee that the Command navigation unit is not as good as the touchscreen Lexus Nav I have in my own car nor the touchscreen Toyota Nav in my sister's Prius.

My father has this car but I don't think it's worth ~$110,000 when fitted with all packages. I love to occasionally drive his car, but I wouldn't buy one myself.

In my opinion, buying a luxury SUV that's around ~$45,000 makes the most sense in a city like LA. With the traffic and speed limit in the city, SUV gives you enough speed while also providing more storage room... meanwhile, it's just as luxurious as a sedan.

My father is retired though, and I guess he deserves to be pampered.

I just picked up an 09 S550. I came off an 06 E55. Sure, I miss that exhaust sound, but I got so much more. This makes the E Class look and feel like a real piece of crap. Only problem is what to get 3 years from now. Where do you go from here?

a Phantom is not exactly the same price as a BMW 750. I mean you're comparing $80,000 with $400,000. Not a very good comparison. The type of people who can afford an S class benz or 7 series BMW aren't always the same people able to afford a Rollyce Royce Phantom.

Perhaps if I got the extra 40G on top of the 100k plus, I may go for it. I never would have thought of dropping over a 100k on a car. My first new car was a 1983 15th anniversary Hurst/Olds. What a piece of shit that was. After 3 tranny rebuilds, 3 rear ends, new oil leaks every week, I vowed to never ever buy American. Now these morons are going out of business. I almost considered that 500 plus Horsepower caddy that is fastest production sedan in the world. Good luck servicing that crap
