i remember watching this with my mom and dad...thats how i got my nickname "babe".My dad nicknamed me that and up until he passed away in 1996 he still called me that. I hear this song and i can see my dad smiling.

Some related Sonny and Cher memories. They were against drug use and I recall seeing an educational anti drug film hosted by Sonny. This was shown to us one Sunday morning in Sunday school. This was I think in 1968.

When the Vietnam War ended one of the returning POW's asked if Sonny and Cher were still togeather. For that he got to meet them in person. don't recall who the returnee was
