  • The law of attraction does work and can scientifically be proven to do so. The only problem is the many other keys to success that work along with it which are not revealed and make it not work.Secret societies(GIN,masons, etc) have known these secrets for ages. I am a member of GIN, a private member invitation only secret society. Within, you learn all the secrets that can virtually 100% guarantee success if followed. • i have just become a fun of your works this is so awesome thank you so much

  • That fat egghead is ranting out of her ivory tower, but she doesn't know India at all. The Punjab alone is producing enough food to feed all Indians. But most of them won't eat it, for some obscure, pseudo-religious reasons, though it's heavily subsidized by the government. (In India, 1 Cent buys 1 pound of subs. rice -- wonder how much I have to pay for it?) That's why they're exporting it, and of course, for the best price they can get.

  • @schlagerhansi . Yeah I agree, she should get off her high horse or at least climb down from that Ivory tower. Unlike yourself with your vast understanding on the subject matter through the scholarly research you've done from working amongst the people and living and breathing the work you do. Ivory tower? get the fuck out of here you stupid idiot. Who's in their fucking ivory tower of ignorance?

  • @mykebulvai

Contrary to you, I didn't get my knowledge about India from so-called scholarly research, but from living and working there, at a chamber of commerce. I doubt Ms. Wandana, or you, or the person who made that clip, could say as much. Ms Wandana is the typical product of a westernized, ivory tower style education. Her English is almost as good as mine, but I'm sure her Hindi is not. At least, I wouldn't pronouce our God's name "Sheewa" instead of "Shiw"...

  • @schlagerhansi yeah i'm sure you know sooo much than she does? find something better to do with complain about someone who stands up to corporate tyranny

  • @mykebulvai you are extremely ignorant

  • @schlagerhansi . ohh look where you live, America. Chew on some monsanto seed and zone out on Fox news - and please shut the fuck up.

  • 1.55

  • Go Vandana! check 2.02 that reveals truth!

  • Talking about people not getting enough food is one way to look at things. But what about the mentality of most parents in 3rd world countries who make 6 to 10 kids and expect everything to be normal? If there's no food then logic tells you NOT to make kids.

  • @giriisindahouse a FOX News argument at its worst...

  • @EndWesternTyranny lol dude use your head. When countries like Afghanistan have an average of 7 kids per mom, they're surely gonna face some form of food crisis.

Yes the Western world do consume too much of food, also waste most of them but its stupid to look at matters only at one side. They asked for trouble by breeding like rats.

  • @giriisindahouse "lol dude" so according to you... having children is wrong, but a corporation causing millions to starve for a profit is right? why am i wasting my time arguing with someone on youtube with the name girlsindahouse...

  • @EndWesternTyranny lol you can't even spell my name right. Anyway I don't know all these conspiracies. Perhaps as you said they make them starve and so we should contribute in some way.

BUT having so many kids when the food is scarce is definitely the stupidest thing to do. In the Muslim world, they must have lots of kids to grow the religion and many parents have them even if they can't possibly raise them well. Try educating them about family planning and see what they'll do to you.

  • @giriisindahouse you clearly don't know anything about India. you don't even know the meaning of the word "conspiracy." invest in a dictionary...

  • @giriisindahouse p.s.only 13% of Indians are Islamic, you ignorant racist...

  • @EndWesternTyranny the videos titled 'global food crisis' fucktard. Anyway I realized that your the troll of this video. Every video has one. So have fun trolling for your whole life

  • @giriisindahouse "fucktard" "lol dude" you're clearly the intellectual here, professor giriisindahouse...?

  • @giriisindahouse p.p.s. the video is titled "Vandana Shiva on global food crises," "fucktard"...

  • Dr Shiva I hope we stop Monsanto I no that people in the usa don't even understand whats being done to there foods and how long its gone on with out even a care about our health and we are going to pay with our health.

  • okhay guys! too many technical words doesn't mean TRUTH!!! no green revolution, no "many of us" in Mexico, India or Pakistan in this generation!! and organic farming alone cannot support a 9 billion world with no promise of NEW FERTILE LANDS

  • It's a pitty

  • i strung together tons of clips showing droughts around the world. Its quite shocking when you see how many droughts there are /watch?v=jaVgyEuLA84

  • Someone should also mention that the population of many countries in the world has grown drammatically in the last 60 years. In some African nations, it has multiplied by 8 or more. This is a problem which is never mentioned. About India: how can anybody possibly think that India, with 1.2 billion people and counting, a country which largely depends on seasonal rains, has large semi-desertic areas and it is reaching the depletion of soil and water reserves will not crash in the near future?

  • i just hope we can stop this in time , this is the scariest thing that threatens the human race.

and i feel helpless so i plant and eat my own food (nongmo) of coarse but is that enough? what can i do?

  • There isn't too less food, there is noly too many people.

  • this woman blames the 'world bank' when she should blame the main cause for the food crisis, the overpopulation. She comes from a culture that ostracizes a women that has no child but it's ok for parents who have lots of children without having the means ti feed them.

  • @vnobre You are incorrect. This is a very common misconception due to lack of research - that the current food crisis is simply due to numbers, aka, overpopulation. I urge you to do research on the issue more deeply. National Geographic is doing a year-long coverage (2011) aiming to target this issue of "global population". And, experts are in mass agreement - it is not about "not enough for everyone", but moreso, about, "not balanced distribution for everyone".

  • @taknidentity1 i can see your point but i'm still convinced that the world shouldn't depend on the rich countries to share their wealth. parents with fewer children have less dependence on resorces (food, water, health care) wich in some countries or regions is scarce.

  • @vnobre But the rich countries didn't get rich in an isolated bubble, SOLELY by themselves, FOR themselves. E.g., in history, COLONIZATION.So then, why would an argument hold up where you now say that the "rich" countries shouldn't be depended upon to help the poor? THEY were helped in getting richer. Altho, IA, to a degree, that one should help themselves...BUT it's not an either/or problem - that's too simplistic. The rich don't get richer ONLY on their own.Everything..everyone..is connected.

  • India's population has more than doubled in the last 40 years....almost tripled.

India doesn't have the ability to feed its self. We north americans feed them

Fertilizer = more yield = more food.

    but keep blaming monsanto

  • India´s population is its human resource in the future. You don´t have to feed us. We will feed you in the future.

  • @inder19852000 True, my utmost RESPECT to the Indian People! = )

  • you go girl!

  • Excellent speaker. Fight against Codex Alimentarius and S. 510 "FDA Food Safety Modernization Act" which would eliminate local and raw foods through empty promises of safety. These regulations would bankrupt small farmers who try to offer diversity and choice. Fight global corporate domination.

  • Excellent speaker. Fight against Codex Alimentarius and S. 510 "FDA Food Safety Modernization Act" which would eliminate local and raw foods through empty promises of safety. These regulations would bankrupt small farmers who try to offer diversity and choice.

  • love from israel

  • A lack of Condoms has created the current crisis.

maybe start thinking about controlling population before blaming the "west/north"

  • @Davebjj

How could you say something so stupid?

  • @Davebjj

How could you say something so stupid?

India has the capacity to grow enough food to support its people-

though through monsanto- farmers are forced to grow crops that must be sold and exported in order for the farmer to pay back its debts.

monsanto has a monopoly- farmers are forced to pay whatever price is set for the seed.

  • I'm in LOVE! now that is activist! Thanks U! Vandana Shiva. I wish she would come down here to the states and give some further commentary.

  • I have no idea where she gets her facts, but everything she has said about the seed corporations is false. Genetically Modified Crops yield unbelievably better than organic, they actually have fewer harmful chemicals in them because they have bread out of them for years, and they require less labor because they are better adapted to weather changes, and harsh conditions.

  • @clhandy13 Its called Round up Ready Soy for a reason; you can spray more round up on it to kill other plants (weeds). What ARE your facts? Vague statements are not facts!

  • She speaks of “The Trinity of Evil”.

“The Trinity of Evil“ is comprised of Banks, Corporations, and Governments

Banks: To control the returns of real labor by the imaginary concept of money

Corporations: To control a limited set of resources, some imaginary, and access to those resources

Governmental laws/taxation: To ensure behavior compliance, ie work and reward, by the people for those resources even the imaginary ones.

  • She should dress more globalized

  • Globalized doesn´t mean dressing up in western clothing. Globalized should be in terms of one´s knowledge about the world we live in.

  • @playboysinistro

    huh? you nuts?

  • More research should be done on climate and growth ability in less fortunate countries. This is in terms of farming. If climate is fit for growth however there is no valuable soil, the possibility of shipping foreign soil to those countries is not implausible.

  • @tnguyen318 except that yes it is

  • I am classified as poor in America but ask for no gov. aid,

I garden and also grow wild gourds, nothing in the bug world eats the leaf so I make a tea from it and spray my other crops and now without pesticides loose less than 2% to bug damages,

If you want any info it is free, only goal is to feed those that cannot afford but food.

  • The poverty in the third world can be alleviated once the West stops dumping subsidized agricultural products into their markets.

  • @inder19852000

YOu speak wisdom, but the corporations that run this nation will never stop passing laws that fill their bank accounts.

so I fear the only way to save the third world is to see

    America fall?

  • Stop giving aid to the third world and reduce the subsidies given to farmers in the West. These subsidies are depriving the third world farmers out of their livelihood forcing them into poverty.Poverty is a man-made dire situation.

  • @inder19852000

    YOU speak wisdom

they pay massive farmers not to grow crops around here,

I sneak on the rch man's land and grow herbs now and then, to help

put food on our table without getting caught

  • I would suggest you to read the book ,"Dead Aid " written by Harvard educated economist Dambisa Moyo.

  • @inder19852000

aint got time, working 20 hours a day till fall,

    may try then,

    later

  • you are clearly ignorant.

  • @BradLauber i pity morons like you who neither understand agriculture, nutrition and environment nor the science behind genetic engineering.

  • @acidcrashguy It is much more effetive to attempt to articulate your points rather than just name call and jump to conclusions about what you think you know.

I am a farmer who grows Organic crops and conventional crops. So to say that i know nothing of agriculture or nutrition or bio-engeenering is simply not true.

Oh by the way... my GMO crops yeild b/t 20-50% more depending on the year mother nature gives us.

Agriculture is simply not sustainable if we do it Shiva's way

  • Sustainability - so you will teach the farmers of India who have been cultivating the land with organic methods for more than 4000 years what sustainability is ? Do you know 150,000 farmers have killed themselves (some of them drank pesticides) since the introduction of BT cotton ? I mean are you aware that thousands of goats and cows die every year eating plants like these. Oh I am sorry you belong to a culture where animals are factory farmed. Also you call weeds, we use them as herbs.

  • @acidchashguy Sustaiability- Why did bt cotton cause the suicide of 150,000 farmers? Are you seriously blaming Monsanto for them drinking pesticides? WOW! Of course there are thousand of goats and cows dying every year, we are eating them! You and I have been eating GMO plants since probably 1992 and we havn't droped dead in a year time period. If you call weeds herbs, what do you use your weeds for? And factory farming is a harsh truth of life, i dont like butchering but luv eatin

  • Ok, it's not Monsanto that killed them, but Monsanto did put them in a very bad situations and thrown thousands into extreme poverty and despair because of their propaganda, seeds and chemicals. This is facts. Monsanto does not have a clean record on ethics.

  • What pill of delusion r u taking that affords you to be an apologist for Monsanto, Du Pont and Bayer? And HOW have American farmers benefitted from these "top quality" seed? The difference between American farmers and those in developing economies, is minimal at best !

  • American Farmers by a malority of 97% are planting Hybrid seeds from the above mentioned companies b/c they are a superior product that have higher yeilds and are safer to produce and therefore better for the environment. American Farmers make more money and more food using Bio-Technology, it is that simple

to say the there is no difference b/t the developed world and the developing world shows an obvious lack of understanding of global agriculture. Thankfully, you don't make the decisions

  • American farmers by majority are leveraged into planting hybrid seeds not only by vertue of having their crop govt subsidized but their loans only granted upon set measures. What "more money" are you talking about?

Besides creating dead zones from the runoff of these farms they further indebt the farmer to the degree of financial slavery. Get over your bullshit!

  • Oh yes, nothing like "developed economies" benefitting of the misery of others. What a "novel" concept! What crock of crap are trying to legitimize? Millions of years of evolution versus genetically modified seeds that one is NOT allowed to harvest nor replant but repurchase year after year from the suppliers e.g. Monsanto? Great plan! So great, that when GCC comes into the full fore we can screw with Mother Nature's ability to adapt. Get off the grass!

  • You are right that american farmers are "leveraged " into using hybrid Bio-tech seed . But not for the reasons you site. We use Bio tech hybrid seed becuase it offers a higher return on investment. The ancinent INCA and AZTEC indians were the first to use genetic engeneering by combining grass and the teosente plant to create corn. Corn is a thousands year old genetically engeneered product of man improving agriculture. Probably because they were tired of being hungry

  • Bumper yields are not the goal - its the delicate balance of soil nutrition, preservation of farm animals, biodiversity, environment, and the nutrition and texture of the plant. Do some research on the extent of damage BT has caused. But in all honesty, I guess numbers will never be enough - its a philosophical difference between what the West and the East look at the world.

  • Bumper crops not goal? Ok lets examine this statment-your goal is to ballance the universe: somehow GMO has thrown the universe out of ballance? does that sum up your thoughts? The problem with the research you are doing is it must be youtube/fstv research. It is tough to have a spirited converstion with someone that keeps spouting propaganda about monsanto being responsible for the suicide deaths of 150,000 people? Really? is that the best you got? why not go all out and claim a million

  • I will get you papers written on this subject. I will get reports presented to the UN and the Indian government from scientists and independent researchers. Would you agree to donate a dollar per farmer then - after all enlightening a moron should be worth the effort ? Do a google search if you care about fucking numbers.

  • @acdcrshgy I'll be waiting for the papers and the reports. (i'll even give you my e-mail so you can attach them) Scientists and researchers are like lawyers, for every 1 you can site to back up your propaganda i can find 10 that will repute your dribble. I am going to ask you to, for the first time in your life, do some opened minded research, consider all view points don't just research only what you agree with. after all opening your closed mind will only benefit you!

  • as expected, i am still waiting on the non existent research you created in your head. But at any rate, when you get those papers just let me know,

  • "a moment of euphoric understanding, a moment of intense inward and outward thought, a moment of enlightenment, a moment of ZEN". LOL. Do some reading of Indian philosophy and where the Japanese word "Zen" was derived from. When you read and understand what it means - come to me and we'll talk.

  • @BradLauber More than 20 % of the food produced in India is lost to improper storage and distribution. Just to give you an example, farmers in the state of Orissa grow eggplant (about 1500 varities) and export them to other states. Now Monsanto wants to introduce BT Brinjal to solve the global food crisis !!!

  • You are wrong. The "Free trade" and biotech companies like Monsanto are pushing the people in the third world to starve.Germany has recently banned Monsanto´s Genmaize, which gives credibility to her arguments

  • The entire EU has banned GMO's so it is no surprise that germany (who has the most lax GMO regs) would ban anything Monsanto, Dupont or Bayer introduce Worldwide. In fact this has pretty much been the norm for 2 decades. American agriculture innovates, feeds the world by growing a more abundant and healthy food supply as europe steps backward using the technology of 50 years ago and thinking they are the smart ones. free trade starves people? Only the dumb ones! you worried? only joking;)

  • Monsanto is pushing its monopoly over seeds in the third world.Every farmer has the right to seed.Monsanto went to patent "Neem",a medicinal plant, which belongs to India.Monsanto sues American farmers too,if accidentally some pollen of Gene crops land on their farms.

  • I suggest you to watch this documentary "The World According to Monsanto"

  • I have seen picture of Vandana Shiva on a banner here in Germany

  • Yes Vandana ! You are a hero for me - respect and pl. take good care on you !!!

  • Another problem is all the land being used for "luxury" crops like sugarcane, tobacco, flowers, and yes to some extent corn (biofuels) - unnecessary crops grown for export for profit. In poor countries, land that could be used to grow sustenance crops for local consumption is squandered growing & the exporting unnecessary luxury crops undermining local populations.

I buy grapes, clementines here in Canada in January. Where do they come from? They certainly aren't locally grown.

  • IMF, Worldbank, and "modern" banking systems in general create credit "out of thin air". They call these INVENTED numbers then "money" and "lend" it to the world and say that in turn all countries, "consumers", and economies are now "indebted" to them. These "moneys" they NEVER had to save or provide assets for it. This is neither money nor indebtedness. It is legalized (not lawful!) fraud and looting of world populations. (Please, ppl research those questions!)

  • this lady has good energy

  • By far, one of the BEST video I've seeing! Thank You! I soooo much agree with you lady!

The use of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and God knows what other chemicals have killed the micro live of our soil. Now that we are eating plastic products is when we see so many health problems in our community. We also need good micros in our bodies to help us depend illnesses. I don't know what part of this many ppl don't understand...... instead they choose Cancer, Diabetes, High Blood P and else....

  • Is there anyway you can edit this? From 1:55 to 2:29 it repeats the audio repeats and then resumes.

  • I am active buyer of Navdanya products for health soil and food diversity thanx u

  • Go Vandana! You are my hero(ine)!

  • You are my biggest hero in this world, Vandana...

  • What an amazing, courageous, intelligent woman.

  • HIndus Rule man! ALWAYS...

  • Amen!

  • smart woman.

  • Thank you Dr. Shiva for exposing the truth. We can feed the world with organic agriculture. It is not a problem of not enough food, but of the World Bank, WTO, and IMF restricting access and diverting markets for theirs and industrial agriculture's gain. We need a seed satyagraha!

  • Awesome!! Thanks for speaking out

  • We certainly need more people like Vandana Shiva to expose for us the evils of the current world economic system.

Wonder why there don't seem to be any CHINESE people pointing out such things for us like Mdm Shiva and many Western reporters and authors. Maybe it's because we Chinese just couldn't f*cking care less about anything else besides 'making China great', whatever the f*ck that means.

    I sure love being Chinese.

  • Learn the real truth behind all the blatant LIE$ & deliberate FRAUD surrounding HIV causing so-called AID$:

"Gary Null hosted an exclusive press conference & interview with British investigative journalist Janine Roberts on Sept 11, 2008.

The broadcast can be heard in its' entirety in the Archives for Sept 11, 2008 on the Progressive Radio Network at

    garynull . progressiveradionetwork . org

  • We need to listen to her because knowledge is power.

  • Now you see the genocide taking place. Oda Nobunaga extended Salt and rice to his long time foe because he understood that battles should be won with swords and not Salt and rice. No honor in the IMF/NWO.

  • The answers are here now.

Find a farm. Buy raw milk, raw butter Support your local organic farmers. It's

the only way to activate this approach and

    make it meaningful

  • BRILLIANT!

The world needs far more INTELLIGENT & compasionate people like this!

Love, LIGHT & PEACE to everyone, everywhere!

    South Africa

PS: HIV does not cause so-called AID$ - that's another massive $-making & genocidal $CAM perpetrated by the same few currently in control. People throughout the world should research & demand the TRUTH!

  • Thanks for your comment. But I can't follow you on that point about HIV. Your theory is weird and it's dangerous for millions of uninformed people. And it is helping with the "Catholic" anti-condom-propaganda, wich is racist, genocidal, and directed against women and gays. And against africans, not to forget.

  • Rauskucker: Hi! You can read my comments on:

    /watch?v=ONYV37ImAHw&feature=email

Condoms definitely have many benefits, I've never condemned the use of them - I do however disapprove of the blatant LIE about HIV causing so-called AID$ on all their current 'promotional' advertising material. Also, many of the lubricants used are not safe & often contain benzene which weakens / damages the THYMUS, the body's immune system's power house. :(

  • your right 100% fuck those who dont belive

  • minisight: THANK YOU for you acknowledgement of the TRUTH! We're joined by over 2000 world renowned scientists, virologists & people in the KNOW! It's GREEDY evil ones like Rumsfeld, determined to keep the HIV & so-called AID$ mega-HOAX, LIE of note & blatant FRAUD (on Robert Gallo's part) alive & rolling!

WHY? Because Rumsfeld has HUGE, LUCRATIVE financial interests & MILLION$ to gain in his

ATRIPLA®: A one-pill, once-a-day HIV treatment with the power of 3 HIV meds in one pill daily!
