Dear One Life to Live Costume Department,

Can you please STOP recycling Layla's clothes from the past three years she has been on the show? I know we are in a recession but I rarely see any of the other female characters wearing the SAME outfits again and again. The sun dress in this clip was worn last summer on a date with Oliver Fish. The last clip had her in shorts from May 2009 and then there is the phugly black dress with the big brown flowers.

This makes me sad,

The ugly patterns, the big flowers, and they brought back that big medallion necklace. "Hello Layla, 1975 called and Bootsy Collins wants his necklace back." Some one needs to be fired!

@NisjeD While I did like the Prom dress, her dress was so short that if she bent over or got out of a car in the wrong way, you could see her life story. LOL! It reminds me of my Great-Grandmother who used to say that she would sew a piece on the bottom of a dress that was too short. Well, at least Tika has the body for the the dress so I can't hate.

@Isabellereigns yea, she doesn't need that big costume jewlery, what got me is the night they first made love they put her in that ugly..I meanUGLY poofy dress with black tights and boots..huh? They couldn't have her slip into the bedroom and put on something a little sexy? This girl has a seriously good figure and some of these clothes look like she must be 50 lbs overweight.

@nancylp1111 I'm alone. I liked the dress but hated it with the jewelry, boots and tights. Layla has an ecletic wardrobe which suits her just fine. I think Tiks can wear just about anything. The only thing I've hated is the Go Red Ball dress from February 2008 and the Gone With The Wind bridesmaid gowns of 2008.

@thecaylachannel I loved the pix I saw of the go red gown, don't remember seeing the bridesmaid dress...whose wedding? She can wear anything, shes got a beautiful figure and really great legs but why hide it in the hidious puffy dress? lol I agreed with I think Isabetlle who said the prom dress was a few inches to short but other than that it looked great too.

@nancylp1111 It is odd but I get the feeling that they are setting Cayla up to act as mentors to the teens which actually works well for them. It ties Cayla to the teens who seem to get all the airtime plus I think it opens the door to bring Jamie back. I think Cristian would be awesome as a stand in father to Jamie and Layla would work well as Jamie's female influence. It also reinforces my Layla Gannon fantasy. I wish they would make RJ Layla's daughter

@thecaylachannel Yea, I think you had said that RJ connection before and I really like that idea and kind of explains why Layla was treated diff than her sister. I also like the idea of bringing Jamie back as a teen, maybe pair him with Mathew. Wish they would recast Antonio and build the Vega family again. I see they'll be on both Friday and Monday, don't know after that but looking forward to it.
