The Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump... all amazing films... but this one just takes the cake! I go to the movies like 3 times a week, I watch everything and I feel like know every movie... but in ALL MY LIFE I have NEVER again seen anything like this! Hands down, this is the BEST FILM EVER MADE! Really, it is ridiculous how amazing this film is! James Cameron, you are not just a filmmaker... you are the God of filmmaking... and this is your MASTERPIECE!!!
Again, not to sound like an asshole, but if you can't see the greatness in The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, you don't know jack shit about film.

@highlandparkdram One could infer that the line "I swear I will not kill anyone" is meant to be a joke, which it does come across as one. There were dark humorous moments like that in the first film, what with the Terminator saying things like "please" when asking if he could see Sarah, his ever famous "I'll be back" line, and even saying things like "I love you too, sweetheart" in Sarah's mother's voice.
One that always cracks me up, though, is "Nice night for a walk." XD

That "I will not kill anyone" line at the end resulted in HUGE laughter at theaters. Man, everyone was just insanely excited about seeing T2 back then.

The movie was so perfectly balanced with the right amount of violence, emotion and danger. None was too excessive, and I feel that even no other movie could balance or capture it as well either. I have seen alot of movies, and have always kept this permanently etched in the back of my mind!!
True Lies is actually my all time favorite with Arnold but I own all 3 Terminator Films and the 2nd is actually my favorite. They are working on a fourth but I don't think Arnold is in it.
It takes place during the nuclear war against the Skynet Machines
if there are plenty of propane tanks, it could (even though it was shown on mythbusters that you can't make a propane tank explode with a regular pistol unless it has tracers).
This trailer is included in Momentum pictures 2-disc ultimate edition, was released back in 2003 or 2002. It was sold as UK import release here in Finland, discs are region 2. Maybe eBay can help you with this?
I thought it was funny when arnold said "I swear I will not kill anyone" because terminater fanns thought that arnold was just kidding iin this trailer. guss again dipwads.
Oh and it's probably the best film trailer ever! Probably even better than the film itself, IMHO. ;) Though it was a bit misleading at the time..(Showing Michael Biehn's character, when he'd been cut out!)
Yeah, I remember seeing this first full trailer at the cinema before Predator 2! We were so impressed by it we actually paid to see the film again just to see the t2 trailer! Ah those pre-internet days of old! LOL! :)
EXACTLY!!! This trailer would totaly be worth the extra ticket / by the way some people talk in bad way about Predator 2 but I liked it. Bad luck I was too young to see it in the theatre same as T2. I remember first "First" big picture I saw in the theatre was Raiders of the Lost Ark - Indiana Jones. Cool times
Raiders of the Lost Ark came out in 1981, Predator 2 in 1990, T2 in 1991. How could you see Raiders in theaters but not be old enough for T2? Even Indy's Last Crusade came out in 1989.
i see in this trailer, one deleted scene, wich is now included in T2 DVD as part of the movie, when Reese appears in Sarah´s dream warning her of the presence of new terminators, and the new target....i really never saw before this trailer, and i think it´s awesome!!!!
this is the "unreleased" version of the movie...somewhere in the original DVD of T2 James Cameron explains he had to remove some scenes..so that the movie be 2 hours long exactly.
That was good. Up until 1:04 mark, the trailer gave the wrong impression that two terminators were sent to kill John. That would've been an awesome plot as well.
the orignal point was to keep the audiance guessing which was trying to kill connor, but it seems obvous to someone whose seen the movie multiple times, so i guess im just biased
Originally there were going to make it a mystery on which Terminator was the good one, till the next trailer blew the whistle.

Arnold only agreed to do the film if his role was more family-friendly (hence the
"Not Kill Anyone" rule for the Terminator).

I doubt that. There was still plenty of killing. Arnold's character not killing was central to the story line, that's the reason.

To me I think the music score behind the trailer ultimately sells it, hands down.
Also the same theme used in the third trailer in the 2-Disc Ultimate Edition.
