I'm surprised you didn't mention that Treble is very similar to Sigma's pet, Velguarder. There was also a wolf robot in Mega Man 2 that even had one of Velguarder's attacks. (or I suppose Velguarder has one of his attacks)

You missed an item. If you go to Frezzeman and stand in front of the stair before the entrence and use rush search, you dig up the exit item

I think you may have missed something. If you destroy the pumpkin the other way, he'll open the wall on the right. You take the alternate path and use Rush Search under a picture of Dr. Wily. I don't remember what it is though.

you can found the exit item with rush search in freeze man stage It is found just outside Freeze Man's room. On the raised platform just before the one with the door to Freeze Man's room.

The Wolf enemies are actually a transformed form of the unicycle knight enemies (Their name is Gilliam Knight, for some strange reason). They transform into wolves when outside when the moon is out, but I don't know when they can actually switch back and forth in the stage...
