  • Go Anne Go! We are all keeping our fingers crossed! :-)

  • Me too! ^^

  • no, I am not, but where? I mean i dont know much bout it cuz I am from venezuela, so I need more info xD

  • There's a yellow button that says "Subscribe" on the upper right hand corner of this page. Just click on it. It's that easy. And it's free. And you get notified of all the new videos on my channel FIRST. That's all there is to it. That way you won't miss anything!

  • xD ok, I thanks I´ll do it now!

  • Anne Is so beautiful! and amazing person!

  • I've noticed this page has turned into one congratulations to Anne after another!

But then, that's the way it should be and she has indeed racked up an impressive list of kudos! Go Annie!

    I'm soooo proud of her!

  • I'm definitely going to watch this film on your advice Stephen simply because I'm not a big fan of Anne in that I think she's a pretty mediocre actress but by the sounds of things she has upped the game in this film! I would really love to see Emily Blunt (having been in the Devil wears Prada with her) get some recognition these days, she's a sensational actress! She seems to have fanished since getting her Golden Globe! :(

  • Emily Blunt is working all the time! The films she been doing one after the other will be coming out this year, including the one about Queen Victoria. I think it's called "Young Victoria." And Jonathan Demme brought out a depth in Anne that people had only glimpsed heretofore. But "Rachel" proves she had the chops to be a great dramatic actress as well as a marvelous comedienne.

  • Oh I know, I'm very much looking forward to seeing her new projects, I just meant that although she had be working she hasn't been receiving the same publicity as Anne over the last year or so but I guess that's owing to Anne having received critical acclaim for "Rachel getting married"! I will still always prefer Emily though, the first time I saw her in "My Summer of Love" I was completely blown away! But yes I'm definitely going to watch this film! I'm sure, as you said, that Anne is great!

  • Emily is doing just fine. She made a big splash at the Golden Globes, in case you missed it, in a metallic blue/silver dress. She'll be up for the Oscars one day maybe even next year. She's up there on the A list. Don't worry about Emily. There's also a fun interview I did with her on this "Channel."

  • I thought it was a cream vintage dress and she wore a blue metallic one at the oscars, maybe i'm wrong, but that's neither here nor there as they say! I haven't seen that interview I must check it out! I hope you're right (which I'm sure you are), I'd love to see her win an oscar, she's definitely oscar worthy!

  • I think you're mixing Anne and Emily up here. At the Golden Globes Annie was indeed in a beautiful classic vintage cream colored dress and it was EMILY in the metallic blue. Or at least that's the way it looked on my TV! BOTH of them will win Oscars eventually. Anne's just thrilled"to be invited to the Circus" as she puts it in the ^above interview.

  • This was the dress I was talking about Emily wearing watch?v=c1Sv0lfKBBk, maybe we were talking about different Golden Globes! Yes it is quite some circus and your right I think both will have their days at winning an Oscar! I still can't predict how the Oscars are going to go this year, they are so unpredictable but I guess that's the beauty of them!

  • In your main page, you seem very excited about the film, was it really that good?

You always have amazing interviews, like that one with Sam Riley about "Control"...I just wished they were kinda longer :)

  • You Tube only allows you a ten-minute time limit tops. And these TV style junket interviews as they are called are usually 3-5 minutes. Like this one with Anne is. And yes, the film is that good. It just won an a Best Actress award for 2008 from the National Board of Review. And "Rachel" was named one of the year's 10 Best Independent Films by them as well.

  • And now Anne has just won a Golden Globe Nomination for Best Actress Drama! Congratulations Annie!!!

  • And now, a SAG nomination for Best Actress as well!!!

  • Congratulations, Anne, on winning the Best Actress Award tonight from the Broadcast Critics'!!!

  • Congratulations to Annie for her FIRST (and it will be far from her last!)Oscar nomination for Best Actress for "Rachel Getting Married!"

  • Awesome interview, as usual, Stephen.

Anne always interviews so well, and her great humility is as evident here as it always is. I so admire this woman!

I loved your little reference to the BBM interview, also. About the "cowboy" hat you wore during it! I loved that hat, even if it wasn't exactly Ennis's Stetson!

  • Congratulations, Anne Hathaway on your winning the National Board of Review's Best Actress 2008 for "Rachel Getting Married"!!!!

  • i so smell an oscar for her XD damn shes so amazing, i cannot wait to see this film, but i think it's going to be awesome, anne hathaway is just totally perfect. but erm i'm kinda confused with the whole gay thing that you're talking about? lol is her character gay maybe? i dunno i havent heard much about the film so yeah i'm sorry if i'm wrong but yeah i have no idea, but i'm totally & completely in love with anne hathaway and i'm so seeing this movie! XD

  • "The gay thing" I'm talking about is the fact that I'm gay, and also that Annie appeared in the great gay movie "Brokeback Mountain." And Anne has said in other interviews, like on "The View", that all her friends are gay.

  • Oooh, very exciting!! And, thank you, thank you, thank you! :P

  • Oooh, very exciting!! And thank you, thank you, thank you! :P

  • This is a fabulous interview! Was it just awesome interviewing Anne? Great show!

  • Awesome! Awesome! Awesome, ThoseCityLights! LOVE your Anne Hathaway site! And you know, she HUGGED me at the end of the interview?!? She said, right where they stopped filming, "Can I hug you?" It was one of the most beautiful, touching, thrilling hugs of my life! What a sweet, lovely girl! AND soooo super-talented. She's going to go on to be one of the great film actresses of her generation at this rate!

  • You got to hug Anne? Oh I wish I could switch places with you!!Rachel Getting Married was lovely! Anne is an incredible actress and an even more incredible person! I love her like family and I've never met her. In her interviews you learn a lot about her and you just fall in love!! :) Great interview. Thanks for posting!

  • Thank you Annehathawayfan! You should subscribe! Then you won't miss anything! And yes, she did hug me at the end of this interview, but unfortunately, the cameras had stopped rolling! As you can see in the Jonathan Demme interview, they did not!

  • Hey! Great interview! I'm from Poland and i love Anne, she's amazing!

  • Hey! Great interview! I'm form Poland and i love Anne, she's amazing !

  • Great interview. I love Anne so much. It would be my dream come true to meet her. She has been my celeb crush forever. I can't wait to see the movie. Thank you StephenHolt

  • I'm just crazy about her, too! She really gave me her best interview. Pure gold. Oscar nomination gold? I certainly hope so. In any case, having been through all the "Brokeback" madness, etc. she has a VERY sensible/realistice attitude to all the awards hoopla. But she IS thrilled to be being taken seriously as an actress. You should subscribe, Jack!

  • You're welcome! Do you see Anne's hosting of Saturday Night Live? Boy, does she revel in doing comedy! She didn't miss a beat! AND she sings, too!She did a spot-on Julie Andrews imitation, among other hilarious skits. She's got the whole package talent-wise! The sky's the limit for her!

  • Yeah, i saw that too. i was a fan of her singing (amonst other things) for a way long time. I was so happy to see her singing again. She also sang a bit with that guy when she found out that her best friend wasnt really gay...halarious stuff. PS: Anne sings really well, she was a top soprano in new york. She sang at sondheims birthday and in a production of Carnaval (Both located on youtube) ALSO, (The highlight) SHE DID A DUET WITH BIG BIRD...im so jealous.

  • I love it! Thanks!

  • The movie sounds great! The stars seem to genuinely enjoy your interviews, as do I. Happy Fall!

  • Thankx, guyz. Rosemary de Witt the new actress who is playing "Rachel" herself in "Rachel Getting Married" is now up! And more coming soon! I loved this movie! And I know, Jimmy, they do seem to genuinely enjoy talking to me. I think that's because I treat them as artists.

You should subscribe, then you won't miss anything!

  • You're correct. Done! Thanks for taking the time to reply!

  • The L.A.Times'Oscar Envelope had all their pickers choose Anne as a Best Actress nominee across the board. Other Unanimous Oscar contender(For Best Actress) Anne' "Prada" co-star Meryl Streep for "Doubt" though no one has seen that picture yet.

  • JimmyHook, I accidentally deleted your last, lovely response. I hit "Remove" when I meant to hit "Reply." Could you re-post it? Sorry.
