The one on the right is also Claus I believe, if you played the game and remember Tan Tan Island. That's a distorted Claus with one eye and sharp teeth. And I'm not 100% on this but I think the one of the left is the Masked Man (Claus again) without the helm.

I don't see why people keep saying Giygas corrupted Claus. *Spoilers Ahead* Giygas was killed generations ago by Ness, Paula, Jeff, and Poo. Then, when Porky escaped to the future, he was the last evil person in existance, thus he is the one who corrupted Claus making him wear the mask that made him oblivious to the lives of anyone he once knew.
